Sfarfallio dello schermo / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Per ridurre la luminosità dello schermo, alcuni portatili accendono e spengono la retroilluminazione in rapida successione - un metodo chiamato Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). Questa frequenza di ciclo a livello ideale non dovrebbe essere percepibile dall'occhi umano. Se tale frequenza è troppo bassa, gli utenti con occhi sensibili potrebbero stancarsi gli occhi o avere mal di testa o anche notare uno sfarfallio.

Il dispositivo che è arrivato in Europa sembra un Huawei P Smart Z, soprattutto perché lo è. Honor ha dotato la sua versione di una memoria interna leggermente più veloce e di un migliore sensore primario della fotocamera, ma i due dispositivi sono identici tranne per il fatto che l'Honor 9X ha anche un altoparlante inferiore.

Mentre l'Honor 9X e il P Smart Z sono stati entrambi lanciati a circa 300 € (~US$331), quest'ultimo può ora essere comprato per quasi 100 € (~US$100) in meno rispetto al suo prezzo di vendita al dettaglio. Se i due dispositivi fossero stati lanciati contemporaneamente, allora avrebbe potuto essere più difficile scegliere tra di loro. Tuttavia, una fotocamera primaria leggermente migliore e una memorizzazione più veloce non giustificano di certo la spesa di un terzo in più per lo stesso dispositivo.

    L'Honor 9X è uno smartphone di fascia media decente che è arrivato troppo tardi alla festa. Bisognerebbe scegliere il P Smart Z o il Mi 9T invece.

In breve, raccomandiamo l'Honor 9X rispetto al P Smart Z solo quando il prezzo è uguale. Inoltre, se siete disposti a spendere 300 € (~US$331) sull'Honor 9X, allora vi suggeriamo di considerare lo Xiaomi Mi 9T in quanto rappresenta un miglior rapporto qualità-prezzo ed è uno smartphone a tutto tondo migliore dell'Honor 9X.
