EN→ITAll in all, the IdeaPad Slim 5i Pro is an incredible machine at this price point. This is not a “Pro” machine but is rather made for entertainment in a thin-and-light form factor, and that’s fine with me. I always like laptops with sufficient power and a bright display. While I do like the extra screen space on the Slim 5i Pro, I wish the battery could have been slightly better. The IdeaPad Slim 5i Pro represents a significant value and also happens to match my expectations that I would like it a premium, mainstream notebook.

EN→ITThis laptop can be characterized by its build quality, performance (to some extent), and efficiency. Because of its chipset and relatively large battery, it can last for up to 14 hours of Web browsing. This should be plenty for you to get an entire workday’s worth of use on a single charge. While some other factors, like the upgrade options, are not stellar, we have to embrace the future. There, soldered memory is as common as the laptop having a keyboard. On the other hand, you have to be careful, because the 8GB option is only configured to work at single-channel. This won’t be an issue with daily use, but if you try playing games, your fps will be decreased. Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 (16″, 2023)’s IPS panel has a WUXGA resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a good contrast ratio. Its backlight doesn’t use PWM for brightness adjustment, which is great, however, the color coverage is quite limited.

EN→ITHaving used it for more than a week, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 sufficed my daily browsing and working tasks. I absolutely loved the aluminum build with Miltary Standard certification. If you compare it to the last year’s model, there are no major improvements on the performance side, but the 76Wh battery definitely steals the show here from the 56WH of the last-gen IdeaPad Slim 5. Those seeking for an ultrabook with the proper build quality and enough performance for casual usage, this guy stands as a considerable option at the price of NPR 104,000. Not to forget, you’re getting 1TB SSD storage and 16GB RAM at this price.

EN→ITThe Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 (14″ AMD, Gen 8) is a compact device that can surprise positively many of you. It has a good build quality, the base is rigid, and the lid can be flexed a bit when it’s opened but not by much. Keep in mind that we bought the all-aluminum version, there are models with a metal lid and a plastic base as well. The optional backlit keyboard is comfortable for typing because of the decent key travel and the clicky feedback. The touchpad is also smooth and accurate. The IPS display (LEN140WUXGA (LEN9125)) has good viewing angles and a nice contrast ratio. Still, the sRGB coverage is low but it’s not a laptop meant for content creation or color-sensitive work. The panel is PWM-free so it’ll not cause additional eye strain if you use the notebook for long hours of work (as always, just don’t forget to take short breaks from time to time). The Dolby Atmos speakers produce a quality sound.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.
Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.
Nel 2011 ha acquisito una partecipazione di maggioranza in Medion AG, un produttore europeo di hardware per computer. Nel 2014 è stata acquistata Motorola Mobility, che ha dato a Lenovo una spinta nel mercato degli smartphone.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
NVIDIA GeForce MX350:
Successore dell'MX250 e molto probabilmente una GeForce GTX 1050 rinominata GeForce GTX 1050 basata sul chip Pascal GP107 con 640 shader e un bus di memoria a 128 bit per GDDR5.
Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs:
Scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Intel Tiger Lake G7 basati sulla nuova architettura Gen. 12 con 80 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore. I chip Tiger Lake sono prodotti nel moderno processo 10nm+ di Intel.
AMD Vega 7:
AMD Vega 8:
Scheda grafica integrata delle APU Ryzen basate sull'architettura Vega con 8 CU (= 512 shaders) e un clock fino a 1.750 MHz.
Intel UHD Graphics 64EUs:
Scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Intel Alder Lake basati sulla nuova architettura Gen. 12 (Xe) con 64 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
Intel Arc 7-Cores: Scheda grafica integrata basata sull'architettura Xe LPG (simile alle GPU Arc dedicate, ma con un focus sull'efficienza). Fornisce 7 degli 8 core Xe (112 Xe Vector Engines) e 7 unità di ray-tracing.

Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Tiger Lake per computer portatili sottili e leggeri. Prodotto in un processore migliorato a 10nm presso Intel.
AMD Cezanne (Zen 3, Ryzen 5000):
R5 7530U: APU mobile a sei core con core Zen 3 con clock da 2 a 4,5 GHz e adattatore grafico Vega con 7 CU con clock fino a 2 GHz.
R7 7730U: Un'APU octa-core basata su Zen 3 per i computer portatili che funziona da 2 GHz a 4,5 GHz e presenta l'iGPU Vega 8 (8 CU con clock fino a 2.000 MHz). Aggiornamento del 2022 Ryzen 7 5825U con le stesse specifiche.
Intel Intel Meteor Lake-H:
Ultra 5 125H: Un chip di fascia media della famiglia Meteor Lake che ha debuttato nel dicembre 2023. Questo processore per laptop Core Ultra di 1a generazione è arrivato a sostituire i chip Core di 13a generazione; ha 14 core (4 + 8 + 2) e 18 thread a disposizione. I core Performance, che sono 4, funzionano fino a 4,5 GHz, mentre i core Efficient, che sono 10 (8 core principali più 2 extra che si trovano nella Low Power Island), funzionano fino a 3,6 GHz. La GPU Arc a 7 core, appena sfornata, funge da adattatore grafico integrato (funziona fino a 2,20 GHz) e c'è anche una serie di altre tecnologie nuovissime, come la NPU AI Boost integrata con due motori Gen 3 per l'accelerazione hardware dei carichi di lavoro AI. Il consumo energetico "minimo assicurato" del chip, raccomandato da Intel, è di 28 W, mentre il consumo energetico massimo Turbo dovrebbe essere di 115 W.
Intel Raptor Lake-H:
i7-13620H: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 6 core ad alte prestazioni e 4 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 16 thread che possono essere elaborati. La CPU ha un clock da 1,8 a 4,9 GHz e supporta vPro.
