Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 Review: A Snapdragon Workhorse With Just a Little Sizzle
Sorgente: PC Mag

Weak graphics performance, a lackluster design, and a ho-hum display are significant drawbacks for the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11. However, the laptop’s upsides are hard to ignore, thanks to fast native Arm app performance (which covers most apps most people use every day), plentiful ports, and all-day battery life.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 review: A mighty fine Snapdragon X2 laptop
Sorgente: Expert Reviews EN→IT
Taking graphics performance out of the equation, there’s absolutely nothing to criticise the IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 over. CPU performance is good for a machine running on entry-level silicon, battery life is superb, build quality is top-notch and I rate both the touchscreen display and sound system highly.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 Review: Solid ARM at a Budget Price
Sorgente: Gizmodo EN→IT
There are technically cheaper systems out there than Lenovo’s IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11. If you look hard enough, you can find things for half the price—but most of them will be Chromebooks.

You couldn't ask for a much better debut for the Snapdragon X2 Plus than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11
Sorgente: It Pro EN→IT
The IdeaPad Slim 5x has much to offer businesses, particularly smaller businesses where budgets may be tight. It's a stylish, solidly-built, and very usable laptop that doesn't look or feel inexpensive. All the same, it's fallen victim to the same creeping price increases we've seen everywhere this year, and at just over £900, it's not quite as fantastic a value as it would have been for around £800.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x review: A no-nonsense Snapdragon X2 laptop
Sorgente: PC World EN→IT
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x is a solid choice if you want a basic, versatile Windows laptop. It hits the sweet spot in many respects. It offers good performance in most areas yet it remains affordable. The battery life isn’t the best but still good, and the smaller battery likely contributes to the laptop’s slimmer size and lower weight.

I finally found a cheap laptop that actually impressed me
Sorgente: Pocket Lint EN→IT
I've spent several weeks with this laptop, and I thought I'd be dying to go back to my desktop for full-time work. While I still prefer using my desktop, I don't mind using this IdeaPad for work whatsoever. I love the feel of the keyboard, I love the touch screen, and I love the long battery life. I can easily spend 8+ hours on the couch without having the plug it in from a full charge, which is fantastic.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x Review: Low-Cost Copilot Plus PC Has Appeal, Limits
Sorgente: CNet EN→IT
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x offers solid value for students or office workers looking for a portable, dependable daily driver. It's wholly unobtrusive, in both the positive and negative sense, but it's a good fit for those looking for a productivity machine and want to spend significantly less than $1,000. The problem with the IdeaPad Slim 5x, insofar as there is one, is that it's a middling package overall. While the lows aren't cripplingly low, the highs aren't particularly high. It's got a strong battery, but not the best-in-class. The highlight is the bright, responsive touchscreen, and brighter still is the option to upgrade to a higher-res OLED panel (albeit without touch support) for only an extra $30.

I just tested the IdeaPad Slim 5x — and it’s my new favorite affordable laptop for work
Sorgente: Tom's Guide EN→IT
At just $849, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 is an excellent productivity laptop, especially amongst rising tech costs and shortages. It boasts impressive performance and makes great use of the Snapdragon X2 Plus chip, solidifying it as a reliable machine that nails the basics. Aside from performance, you’ll get a device that’s built to last, not just because of its thoughtful design, but also its surprising 15.5-hour battery life that rivals big competitors like the M5 MacBook Air. The colorful touchscreen display and a diverse lineup of ports only sweeten the already great deal. While the Slim 5x Gen 11 has a performance ceiling for gaming and video editing, casual laptop users won’t be missing out on much. As long as you can deal with a slightly subpar speaker and webcam setup, you’re looking at a fantastic work and travel laptop for the money.
