EN→ITIf you're patient and wait for it to go on sale, yes, the HP Omen 16 is worth it. I've seen it discounted by $600 to $1,200 with some regularity, and it even dropped as low as $1,150 for a day or two while I was monitoring the price. At $1,200, its shortcomings of an all-plastic chassis and average 1200p IPS display become more palatable. However, my two favorite RTX 5060-based midrange gaming laptops remain the Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 10 and Alienware 16X Aurora.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop: Scheda grafica mobile di fascia media della famiglia Blackwell basata sul chip GB206 con 3328 shader e 8 GB di memoria grafica GDDR7 (128 bit).
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.

Ryzen AI 7 350: Un processore relativamente potente della famiglia Strix Point che ha debuttato nell'ottobre 2024. L'APU ad architettura ibrida presenta 8 core di CPU (un mix di core Zen 5 e Zen 5c) che funzionano fino a 5,0 GHz, insieme all'adattatore grafico Radeon 880M e al motore neurale XDNA 2 di 50 TOPS. Il Secure Processor di AMD (che in poche parole è un co-processore ARM on-package) è presente a bordo, così come alcune altre caratteristiche di fascia alta, come AMD-Vi. Altre caratteristiche chiave sono PCIe 4, USB 4 e supporto RAM fino a LPDDR5x-8000, compresa la RAM ECC. L'obiettivo di potenza TDP a lungo termine può arrivare a 55 W.
