La batteria più capiente nel corpo più sottile, la ricarica più rapida e i tanti anni di aggiornamento lo rendono una solita scelta all'interno del listino Samsung, posizionandosi alla perfezione fra la famiglia Galaxy A e i fratelli S25 più grandi. Si trova quindi di fronte una concorrenza agguerrita: dai top di gamma "economici" come il Galaxy S25 base o i Google Pixel, alla miriade di medio gamma Android come l'OPPO Reno 14 (appena uscito a 600 euro), i vari POCO con le loro schede tecniche aggressive o i top di gamma Honor. I nuovi Galaxy Tab, a differenza degli smartphone, non hanno molta concorrenza nel mondo Android. Certo, esiste qualche tablet da gaming come il Redmagic Nova Pad, con un display eccellente e un processore Snapdragon, ma ha un software al limite dello scadente e non è pensato per la produttività. Altri competitor, come i OnePlus Pad o gli Xiaomi Pad, costano molto meno e hanno bei display, ma spesso manca il supporto a standard come l'HDR10 su Netflix e altre app, o si perdono le certificazioni da un aggiornamento all'altro.

Meanwhile, with the Galaxy S26 series expected in less than six months, the Galaxy S25 has received price cuts on platforms like Lazada, dropping to around RM3,098 for the base 256GB storage option, which is a substantial RM900 price reduction from its launch price. Considering its larger display, longer battery life, faster charging, and lower price, the Galaxy S25 FE clearly offers better value for most users and is easily my choice of device between the two. That said, if raw performance and portability are your top priorities and you don’t mind the smaller battery, slower charging, and slightly higher price, the Galaxy S25 remains the better choice.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is still fine for gaming, but not as smooth running more intense titles. Likewise, the camera tech isn't quite as capable, especially that dinky zoom sensor. Battery life is thankfully fine, if not stellar. You have a slightly bigger cell stuffed inside of the Samsung S25 FE vs the older S24 model - and much larger than the Edge! Instead, it focused on improvements that affected the dimensions, weight, design and battery of the smartphone. The result was quite successful. The smartphone is really noticeably more affordable than older flagships. At the same time, it offers a good screen, a nice design, IP68 protection, high performance, loud sound, good cameras and a user-friendly interface with continuous updates.
