L'Asus VivoBook Flip 14 è un piccolo e compatto 14 pollici convertibile. Il processore Core i3 incluso offre prestazioni più che sufficienti per il lavoro d'ufficio e la navigazione in Internet. Grazie al Turbo Boost, la CPU come un processore Core i5 dell'ultima generazione. Il computer portatile non si surriscalda sotto qualsiasi carico e produce pochissimo rumore quando è inattivo.

    Con il VivoBook Flip 14 TP412UA, Asus offre un solido convertibile da 14 pollici che non si distingue dalla folla.

Un SSD crea un sistema molto reattivo. Può essere sostituito con un modello con una maggiore capacità di memoria. Per fare questo è necessario aprire il case. Non ci sono sportelli per la manutenzione. La tastiera è adatta all'uso quotidiano. Positivo: La tastiera è dotata di retroilluminazione.

I tempi di autonomia che abbiamo registrato nel nostro test Wi-Fi sono peggiori di quelli del modello gemello. La durata della batteria del nostro dispositivo di prova può essere descritta solo come mediocre. Non sappiamo se Asus può risolvere il problema con un aggiornamento del BIOS.

Il touchscreen basato su IPS segna alcuni punti importanti con un buon rapporto di contrasto e angoli di visualizzazione stabili. Tuttavia, la luminosità del display si rivela troppo bassa. Per questo motivo il convertibile non può essere utilizzato all'esterno. Il touchscreen può essere utilizzato non solo con le dita, ma anche con l'Asus Pen, venduta separatamente.
