Insolito Asus avvolge la tecnologia della Zephyrus S in un case sottile e compatto. L'hardware è in grado di riprodurre senza problemi ogni gioco attuale sul display opaco 144-Hz IPS. Le possibilità di aggiornamento del dispositivo sono molto limitate.

Per ridurre la luminosità dello schermo, alcuni portatili accendono e spengono la retroilluminazione in rapida successione - un metodo chiamato Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). Questa frequenza di ciclo a livello ideale non dovrebbe essere percepibile dall'occhi umano. Se tale frequenza è troppo bassa, gli utenti con occhi sensibili potrebbero stancarsi gli occhi o avere mal di testa o anche notare uno sfarfallio.
