Recensione del Laptop Dynabook Tecra X50: Un Ultrabook leggero e duraturo

Tecra è tornata con un nuovo nome. Il Dynabook Tecra X50 mantiene gran parte del gusto Tecra per lo spessore ma alla fine risulta piatto. Anche se l'X50 è una macchina complessivamente valida, il suo prezzo è troppo alto per quello che offre.

Il Dynabook Tecra X50 continua la filosofia Toshiba di progettazione di laptop. C'è un bel po' di cose che piacciono del dispositivo. Per esempio, è uno dei più sottili e leggeri laptop da 15,6 pollici business che abbiamo visto. La portabilità è la sua caratteristica distintiva, anche se ci sono altri punti di forza.

Il Tecra X50 ha una tastiera nitida e reattiva e altoparlanti eccellenti. Sembra e dà una sensazione premium. Ha un certo spazio per l'upgrade nonostante il profilo sottile. Oltre a questi fattori, il Tecra X50 fa poco per distinguersi.

La macchina utilizza lo stesso Whiskey Lake Core i7-8665U come molti altri computer portatili aziendali, ma le sue prestazioni sono notevolmente inferiori a quelle delle macchine concorrenti. Inoltre, la batteria si scarica troppo presto, dato il suo target di riferimento. Quelli che apprezzano la portabilità della macchina troveranno un difetto nella sua scarsa autonomia.

Le prestazioni complessive sono perfette per il lavoro d'ufficio in generale, ma ci sono computer portatili molto migliori con un prezzo inferiore. In particolare, i ThinkPad T490s e X1 Carbon (2019) di Lenovo sono più economici, più leggeri e più potenti. Queste opzioni durano anche molto più a lungo lontano dalla presa della corrente.

    In definitiva, il Dynabook Tecra X50 sembra tutto aspetto e poca sostanza. Se siete sul mercato per un dispositivo bello, sottile e leggera, il Dynabook certamente va bene. Altrimenti, è difficile giustificare un prezzo così elevato.
