EN→ITThe changes made by Asus to the 2026 version of Zenbook Duo are very good and we love the way the dual OLED screens almost merge into one display. As an added bonus the 2026 laptop is notably more compact than previous versions, and this approach to packing two full sized 14-inch displays into a fairly regular laptop demonstrates some impressive engineering by Asus.

EN→ITIntel Is Back, Baby After spending a lot of time with the Predator Triton 14 AI, I can safely say that I’m truly enamoured with this laptop. The RTX 5070 laptop GPU and the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V have already proven themselves to be a powerful combination in my eyes when it comes to gaming alone. Pair this with a beautiful OLED display, impressive battery life, and a satisfying typing experience, and I can comfortably play and work on this machine all day.

EN→ITI'm a believer that one day people will eventually embrace typing on screens with laptops just like they have for smartphones. However, even if you're not willing to make that jump just yet, the Zenbook Duo still has all of its bases covered. Its detachable keyboard gives you a pleasant experience while freeing up the bottom of the notebook to be a second display. This allows you to have something similar to a traditional dual-monitor desktop but in a chassis that you can easily take on the road without any major compromises. The 2026 Zenbook Duo combines a compact design with strong performance, plenty of ports and surprisingly good battery life.

EN→ITI didn't expect to enjoy my time with the Zenbook Duo nearly as much as I did – in fact, I'd almost say I'd assumed I'd find it a bit frivolous. There's still part of me that does, and that chunky price tag doesn't help. Still, it only took a few hours of using it to establish that it's a far more utilitarian device than it first seems. Its two displays are stonking, and the new Intel chips squirrelled inside ensure that you have enough power and efficiency to drive them both for hours at a time without needing a power cable. Double the real estate onscreen makes it genuinely useful for productivity, meanwhile, and its hardware is clearly refined over previous versions. I don't think it's the right laptop for everyone, mind, and its extra thickness and weight are noticeable. But if you have the budget and need a portable display monster, this is a superb bit of kit and the default option.

EN→ITOnce again, Intel is starting the year off on the right foot. Panther Lake's flagship processor is efficient, powerful, and the pairing with the new Xe 3 GPU cores makes it a viable option for on-the-go gaming. You don't have to go for the snazzy Asus Zenbook Duo to get the Core Ultra X9 388H, but if the convertible life appeals to you, I highly recommend it. This is one fun laptop, in a sea of boring gray rectangles, and I've completely fallen in love with it. I know I said there are some thermal issues, but that was mostly under sustained loads or gaming, where you'd expect the CPU to get warm. Every gaming laptop I've used for the last few years has been similar, and this is an ultrabook that isn't even supposed to have enough power to run games well. The integrated Arc B390 GPU is stunning and delivers stellar performance in games I didn't expect it to run.

EN→ITThe 2026 ASUS Zenbook Duo delivers a solid evolution of its design while retaining what matters most: a portable laptop that pushes the limits of mobile productivity. ASUS has taken a concept that once felt half-baked and refined it into something genuinely useful for specific workflows. For mobile professionals and creatives who constantly juggle multiple windows and could benefit from expanded screen real estate without carrying external monitors, this laptop finally delivers on the dual-screen promise.

EN→ITNevertheless, if you’re in the market for an innovative, dual-screen laptop, you really can’t go wrong with the Asus Zenbook Duo. It’s simply superb in almost all aspects of the experience, although I’d prefer using another keyboard if I had the chance. Part of that is the Panther Lake chip, certainly, but Asus engineers have still crafted a Zenbook Duo that’s better than the last. This is a superb productivity machine, one that road warriors, business travelers, and consumers alike should consider for their next laptop.

EN→ITIt’s expensive, but the Asus ZenBook Duo is a great little productivity machine. Its second display is extremely useful in creative work, even if it does come at the cost of a mediocre removable keyboard. I don’t know if I’d recommend this laptop to everyone, but for creative folks on the go, it’s one of the best laptops out there right now.

If you like to multi-task, but don't want the hassle of external monitors, this convertible laptop is one of the best options out there. You can enjoy two screens wherever you wander, while the ASUS Zenbook Duo 2026 is powerful enough to cope with 4K video editing and gaming. Creators are certainly well catered for by that Intel chipset and GPU. The screens themselves are stunners too. OLED tech that's bright, bold and pleasingly vibrant, with the ability to switch gamuts to match what you're up to. Video as well as photo editing and other creative tasks are a breeze on this thing. The ASUS Zenbook Duo is also a cracker for working on the move thanks to the excellent battery life, which stays strong even when using both displays!

EN→ITI don’t want the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H to overshadow that this is a great dual-screen notebook that brings the idea of two panels on the go much more into the mainstream. The Zenbook Duo has gone through a thoughtful glow up, given two glorious OLED panels and ergonomic uplifts that make it a thoroughbred of a productivity machine. But Panther Lake is the key that brings all of this together nicely with a chip that provides both the horsepower and stamina to bring this back in line with what you’d expect from single-screen systems. Price aside, this is a belter.

EN→ITThis is a laptop, in my opinion, that has it all. For a relatively small penalty in weight and size, you get the most flexible machine it is possible to own. You can use it as a desktop productivity beast with two screens, or you can use it as a regular laptop with one. Either way, it performs brilliantly depending on what you want to do with it. It delivers great battery life, it’s quick, the screens are great, and the graphics performance from Intel’s latest iGPU is a revelation. Add impactful audio, great ergonomics and a decent webcam, and you have the most impressive mobile all-rounder I think I have ever reviewed.

EN→ITThe Asus Zenbook Duo (2026) is the best dual-screen laptop I’ve ever tested. It’s a complete package with that potent Panther Lake processor, a pair of lovely 3K 144Hz OLED screens, much improved battery life over its predecessor and a lovely ceraluminum chassis. I’m not a big fan of its ports, though, plus the hefty boost in cost over last year’s model. Last year’s Asus Zenbook Duo (2025) is still a very capable laptop, and was in itself an upgrade over the 2024 model, and is a fair bit cheaper than the 2026 version’s RRP. It’s also worth considering potentially beefier conventional creative laptops, including the Apple MacBook Pro M4 and Asus ProArt P16 (2025), if you want power in a more standard form factor with a much more rounded set of ports.

EN→ITWith prices starting at £2299.99, the Zenbook Duo is an expensive laptop, and you're not so much paying for the performance as for the dual-screen flexibility. It's a laptop you can still fit in a bag and use as a standard clamshell effort, but that can magically transform into a big-screen productivity or creativity beast when you need one, even when you're away from your desk. Not everyone needs this, and if you spend most of your time at one desk, then you're probably better served by a more conventional device plugged into a desktop setup with a monitor and mouse. But if you need the ability to work anywhere without compromising on screen space, the Zenbook Duo is in a class of its own. This year's design tweaks and extra processing power make this more true than ever. It's a superb, hugely versatile machine.

EN→ITAsus already had the best dual-screen laptop out there, but for 2026 the Zenbook Duo has evolved almost entirely for the better. The slimmed-down screen bezels are the next closest thing to having one giant, unbroken display, while the smaller footprint makes it even more portable. Intel’s new hardware has then brought strong desktop performance, a welcome boost to battery life, and the sort of gaming abilities you would’ve needed a dedicated graphics card for a few generations ago. It makes what was already an incredibly flexible machine even more so. The premium pricing will mean it’s unlikely to convince dual screen doubters to make the jump from traditional laptops costing much less, but if portable productivity is a top priority, look no further.

EN→ITThe Asus ZenBook Duo (UX8407AA) is the laptop you dreamed of traveling with. It has two 14-inch OLED screens built in, long battery life, enough power for gaming, and it’s pretty light, all things considered. This dual-screen laptop is the pinnacle of technology today, with its almost seamless design and the power of Intel’s latest Core Series 3 Ultra processors. The only catch is that this marvelous machine costs $2,299. For all that money, this laptop offers the best of the best you can get in a dual-screen notebook or any laptop, for that matter. It features two 14-inch 3K (2,880 x 1,800) OLED displays with 144Hz refresh rates and a top-shelf Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor to drive everything.

EN→ITAll in all, this is a notable refinement of a proven concept, the most popular dual-display laptop available in stores today. You’re paying a pretty premium for the format and the display, though, and I’d expect that premium to be higher than on the 2025 model (which retailed at $1999 at launch). Stay around for our detailed review, and let me know what you think of this refresh in the meantime.

EN→ITThe key with these 2026 releases, exciting as they are, is going to be how expensive they wind-up being. And with RAM and storage prices rising dramatically right now – driven by high-demand from AI companies – that may not be as happy a story as you might hope. Indeed, Asus has already announced price rises on a number of products, as has Dell and the situation is likely to get worse over the coming months.
