L'Asus Zenbook A14 UX3407NA è un portatile Windows ultraportatile da 14 pollici costruito intorno al processore Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100 di Qualcomm. Anche dal punto di vista delle app si assiste ad una costante diffusione di software sviluppati in modo nativo per il set di istruzioni ARM, con la maggior parte dei pacchetti di comune utilizzo per la produttività personale che implementano questa versione. Ove non disponibile l'emulatore integrato in Windows permette di eseguire comunque l'applicazione, salvo rari casi di pacchetti piuttosto datati che in genere non fanno mai parte del tipico pattern di utilizzo di un utente domestico o professionale. ASUS Zenbook A14 viene proposto ad un listino ufficiale di 1.699€, per quanto siano già disponibili promozioni che ne riducono l'importo complessivo. Si tratta di una cifra indubbiamente importante, grazie alla quale poter acquistare un notebook facilmente trasportabile e con grande autonomia lontano dalla presa di corrente.

EN→ITWhen we reviewed the first Snapdragon A14 back in February 2025, it cost £1,099. The new model is £500 more, and for the extra you get more power, much longer battery life, improved wireless communications and better speakers. But you don’t get a sharper screen or touch compatibility, both improvements that, I think, the increase in price demands. I’m not for a moment arguing that the new A14 isn’t the state of the compact laptop art. It is. Everything about it is excellent or borderline, and it’s certainly a five-star product. It’s just that I’m not wholly convinced that the improvements quite match the price jump.

It's a solid performer when needed, especially on the CPU side, and it can run quietly, cooly and efficiently when that's required instead. But the Elite hardware is expensive, and push this Zenbook to a level where many might find it difficult to justify. Hopefully a more affordable mid-specced variation will be available as well later in the year.

EN→ITAs the Asus Zenbook A14 was put on the right track to take on the MacBook Air last year, this year’s A14 and A16 march forward when it comes to performance, but while the A16 shows up strongly with pro level performance in a skinny body, the A14 takes a step back in value for money. For great ultra-portable all-rounders, Apple stays, and if you’re loyal to Microsoft’s OS and want that same experience, the Zenbook A14 is a good (if expensive) alternative. Meanwhile, the A16 sets a new precedent for a thin and light pro machine that bridges the gap between MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, but the stamina suffers because of it. And with adjusted pricing showing the gap widening in bang for buck between Apple and Asus, what was a shoe-in for two of my favorite systems of the year has left me feeling indifferent.

EN→ITThe Asus Zenbook A14 (2026) is a beefy and super light Windows laptop that impresses with its potent internals from a new chip, immense endurance and a stylish look. The needle has moved a lot in price against the old model, though, and a 1920×1200 screen for the price feels a little off. Against the older Asus Zenbook A14, you’re getting a lot more grunt and a little more in the way of battery life, although for £500 more in terms of retail price. The Acer Swift 16 AI (2026) provides similar grunt with an Intel Panther Lake chip, plus a larger and higher-res OLED screen (although at the expense of 12 hours of runtime) for a similar outlay, while the Acer Swift Edge 14 AI has a higher-res OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and similar computing power for a lower price tag. Don’t get me wrong, the Asus Zenbook A14 (2026) is a lovely laptop, and a lot of it is in part due to the Snapdragon X2 Elite chip inside, but rising costs mean it suffers the same price-driven criticism as the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro. Qualcomm X2-90: Scheda grafica integrata veloce nei SoC Snapdragon X2 Elite (Extreme) più veloci, con velocità di clock fino a 1850 MHz.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

X2E-88-100: X2 Elite X2E-88-100 è la seconda variante più veloce dei SoC per laptop X2 e offre tutti i 18 core della CPU suddivisi in 12 core principali con un massimo di 4,7 GHz (fino a dual-core, 4 GHz tutti i core) e 6 core per le prestazioni con un massimo di 3,4 GHz. Insieme, la sezione CPU ha accesso a 53 MB di cache. Il SoC integra anche una potente GPU X2-90 con 1,7 GHz, una NPU con fino a 80 TOPS (INT8), un controller di memoria LPDDR5x-9523 con larghezza di banda di 128 bit e 152 GB/s e l'ISP Spectra per fotocamere doppie fino a 36 MP.
