Questa è la recensione dell’Asus Zenbook A16, ma è anche la recensione dello Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme, processore che troveremo anche su altri portatili. L’Asus è l’evoluzione di quell’A14 che avevamo provato lo scorso anno, un computer da 1000 euro di listino che si trovava, poi, attorno agli 800 euro street price. Abbiamo davanti un computer che ha qualche economia evidente, ma che al giusto prezzo potrebbe essere un affare. È leggero, veloce, ha batteria e ha uno schermo da 16” di buona qualità. Siamo in un periodo particolare, e il prezzo di 2.099 euro di listino guardando i 48 GB di RAM potrebbe anche non sembrare così alto ma comunque stride un po’ con quello che ci si porta a casa: se fosse stato lo Zenbook S16 staremmo parlando di un piccolo capolavoro.

Finally – should you buy this laptop then? Well… it’s clear that Qualcomm and Microsoft improved a lot of things this generation. Most games run fine, but there are some games that just won’t run at all. However, for most use cases, I can just treat it like any other laptop and just use it as is. It’s actually viable to consider a Windows laptop that’s running on Arm architecture nowadays. But the price – well, I was told it is at RM7,999. It’s up there against the other high-end premium Zenbooks. And that’s all that we have to share with you here today about the ASUS Zenbook A16 UX3607O with the Snapdragon X2 Elite. It’s a super lightweight laptop with a wonderful screen and actually great performance. The things that I want to do on a laptop is also running smoothly now.

Qualcomm X2-90: Scheda grafica integrata veloce nei SoC Snapdragon X2 Elite (Extreme) più veloci, con velocità di clock fino a 1850 MHz.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

X2E-94-100: X2 Elite Extreme X2E-94-100 è la seconda variante più veloce dei SoC X2 per computer portatili e offre tutti i 18 core della CPU suddivisi in 12 core principali con un massimo di 4,7 GHz (fino a dual-core, 4,4 GHz tutti i core) e 6 core di prestazioni con un massimo di 3,6 GHz. Insieme, la sezione CPU ha accesso a 53 MB di cache.
