Recensione dello Smartohone RugGear RG655: un piacevole dispositivo per ambienti estremi con utili extras, e qualche pecca

Angelo custode. Push-to-talk e Lone Worker Protection (LWS) sono solo alcuni dei vantaggi funzionali che RugGear ha incluso nell'RG655. Il dispositivo ha un aspetto relativamente contemporaneo rispetto agli standard degli smartphone da esterno, il che comporta un cambiamento. Ma non sono tutte rose, come vedremo nella recensione che segue.

Sfarfallio dello schermo / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Per ridurre la luminosità dello schermo, alcuni portatili accendono e spengono la retroilluminazione in rapida successione - un metodo chiamato Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). Questa frequenza di ciclo a livello ideale non dovrebbe essere percepibile dall'occhi umano. Se tale frequenza è troppo bassa, gli utenti con occhi sensibili potrebbero stancarsi gli occhi o avere mal di testa o anche notare uno sfarfallio.
flickering dello schermo / PWM rilevato 31650 Hz ≤ 15 % settaggio luminosita'

Il display sfarfalla a 31650 Hz (Probabilmente a causa dell'uso di PWM) Flickering rilevato ad una luminosita' di 15 % o inferiore. Non dovrebbe verificarsi flickering o PWM sopra questo valore di luminosita'.

La frequenza di 31650 Hz è abbastanza alta, quindi la maggioranza degli utenti sensibili al PWM non dovrebbero notare alcun flickering.

In confronto: 51 % di tutti i dispositivi testati non utilizza PWM per ridurre la luminosita' del display. Se è rilevato PWM, una media di 9331 (minimo: 43 - massimo: 142900) Hz è stata rilevata.

Tempi di risposta del Display

I tempi di risposta del display mostrano quanto sia veloce lo schermo a cambaire da un colore all'altro. Tempi di risposta lenti possono creare sovrapposizioni negloi oggetti in movimento. Specialmente i giocatori patiti del 3D dovrebbero usare uno schermo con tempi di risposta bassi.

Il RugGear RG655 è un robusto smartphone da esterno, ma non è un dispositivo su cui consigliamo di consumare contenuti multimediali, siano essi foto, musica, video o giochi. L'RG655 ha una buona durata della batteria, almeno.

Tuttavia, le sue fotocamere e i suoi altoparlanti sono carenti, così come la sua GPU. L'RG655 sarà un buon compagno nei cantieri edili o in campeggio, ad esempio, in quanto è robusto, ha un modulo GPS preciso e un display luminoso.

    Il RugGear RG655 è uno smartphone per esterni economico che ha un aspetto più bello della maggior parte dei suoi contemporanei. Tuttavia, in molti settori non è sufficiente, il che gli impedisce di diventare il nostro smartphone per l'outdoor.

Ci piace anche il fatto che possiamo usare il display con le mani bagnate o con i guanti, perché questo aggiunge versatilità al modello RG655. Allo stesso modo, l'inserimento di un pulsante configurabile è comodo, così come il grado di protezione contro gli elementi esterni. Nel complesso, se siete alla ricerca di uno smartphone compatto per esterni, allora il RugGear RG655 può essere il dispositivo che fa per voi.
