Recensione dell'Intel NUC 13 Pro Kit - Vivid Canyon: L'ultimo NUC Intel ha un nuovo case e un Core i7-1360P

Il kit Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition è il diretto successore dell'Intel NUC 13 Pro Kit.Kit Intel NUC 13 Pro. Dal punto di vista tecnico, i due modelli sono piuttosto simili, in quanto l'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit che stiamo testando è dotato anche di unIntel Core i7-1360Pcon 32 GB di RAM DDR4 e un'unità SSD da 512 GB. Dal punto di vista visivo, sono cambiate molte cose, poiché Intel ha rinnovato completamente l'ultima versione del suo NUC. Come già già annunciatointel non commercializzerà più i suoi dispositivi NUC dopo questa versione.

Ciò significa che abbiamo tra le mani quello che presumibilmente è l'ultimo mini PC di Intel di questa gamma. Da anni ormai, questi piccoli geni del calcolo sono noti per offrire prestazioni eccellenti mantenendo basse le emissioni. Il boom dei mini PC nell'ultimo anno ha naturalmente portato a un'affluenza di produttori che hanno immesso sul mercato dispositivi simili. Ne abbiamo già testati alcuni. I suoi rivali (per lo più spediti dall'Estremo Oriente) sono stati spesso in grado di competere e, allo stesso tempo, si sono rivelati più convenienti. In questa recensione, l'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit dovrà nuovamente competere con i dispositivi di Minisforum, Geekom e Morefine. Custodia - Metallo anziché plastica

Finalmente Intel ha osato fare il passo di installare l'hardware in un case di metallo. La vecchia custodia in plastica può essere lasciata nel passato. Il nuovo design è moderno, fresco e convince sotto tutti i punti di vista, a partire dalla qualità del dispositivo al tatto. Allo stesso tempo, le dimensioni del PC non sono cambiate. Con una dimensione di 11,7 x 11,2 centimetri, l'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit è ancora uno dei mini PC più compatti in grado di offrire ottime prestazioni.

Per quanto riguarda i colori, Intel è stata un po' più coraggiosa con il NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit: ora è una combinazione di argento e bianco. La parte bianca si trova sulla parte anteriore, anch'essa realizzata con un rivestimento in plastica. Nonostante ciò, il concetto complessivo è ottimo e Intel ha continuato a garantire la perfetta qualità costruttiva a cui siamo abituati. Purtroppo, l'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit non dispone di un supporto VESA.

Intel è rimasta fedele alle sue opzioni di connettività, fornendo al kit NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition le stesse porte esterne del kit Intel NUC 13 Pro. L'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit - Vivid Canyon è dotato di un modulo Wi-Fi 6E AX211 interno. Anche questo supporta la banda di frequenza a 6 GHz. Tutti i dispositivi hanno fornito velocità di trasmissione elevate nel nostro test WLAN, senza errori reali. Lo stesso si può dire per il nostro campione di prova, anche se è rimasto un po' indietro durante le misurazioni della banda di frequenza a 6 GHz. Per questo test abbiamo utilizzato il nostro ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 come router di prova.

La dotazione è ridotta al minimo indispensabile. Oltre al dispositivo stesso, Intel ha incluso solo un alimentatore da 120 watt.

Manutenzione

Nonostante il nuovo design del case, il kit Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition continua a essere facilissimo da aprire. Solo quattro viti fissano la piastra inferiore. Dopo averle rimosse, è possibile accedere facilmente alla RAM e all'SSD. Questo è importante, poiché l'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit viene venduto come sistema barebone. Il nostro sistema di prova è quasi completamente equipaggiato, come si può vedere bene. È possibile installare solo un altro dispositivo di archiviazione. È necessario prestare attenzione al collegamento, poiché oltre all'unità SSD NVMe M.2 già installata, il secondo slot M.2 supporta solo unità SSD M.2 con velocità SATA e lunghezza massima di 42 millimetri.

Abbiamo eseguito tutti i test di prestazione utilizzando il profilo energetico "Bilanciato". I profili energetici alternativi non erano disponibili sul nostro sistema. Non abbiamo modificato le prestazioni del SoC e lo abbiamo lasciato in modalità automatica secondo le impostazioni del BIOS.

Processore

Il PCIntel Core i7-1360Pè un SoC molto moderno e frugale dell'attuale serie Raptor Lake P di Intel. Il produttore non ha limitato il possibile consumo energetico del dispositivo, il che significa che può accedere a 64 watt per un breve periodo di tempo. Questo valore è stato raggiunto, anche se sotto carico continuo ha avuto accesso solo a 40 watt. Nel nostro test, abbiamo visto che questo valore è stato mantenuto anche per un periodo di tempo più lungo.

L'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit ha superato a pieni voti il nostro test ed è persino riuscito a piazzarsi leggermente davanti all'Intel NUC 13 Pro Kit.Intel NUC 13 Pro Kit. Soggettivamente, non c'è alcuna differenza evidente tra le prestazioni di entrambi i sistemi.

Durante i benchmark sintetici, le prestazioni del sistema dell'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit non sono riuscite a tenere il passo con i risultati della CPU. Il nostro campione di prova ha ottenuto solo risultati medi e con PCMark10 si è attestato sullo stesso livello dell'Intel NUC 12 Pro Kit e del Geekom Mini IT12. Crossmark non ha dato risultati migliori. Durante i test della RAM, il nostro campione ha dovuto ammettere la sconfitta in molte occasioni. Per brillare adeguatamente, il NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit avrebbe dovuto essere dotato di una RAM DDR5 più veloce. Il produttore avrebbe dovuto farlo anche per differenziare il PC dall'Intel NUC 13 Pro Kit.Intel NUC 13 Pro Kit. IlMente Khadasci mostra cosa si può ottenere con una RAM più veloce.

Il nostro esemplare di prova dell'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit è dotato di un'unità SSD NVMe da 512 GB di Samsung. Un modello identico era già presente nelKit Intel NUC 13 Pro. Grazie all'utilizzo dello stesso dispositivo di archiviazione, abbiamo notato risultati di benchmark quasi identici per quanto riguarda le prestazioni. Abbiamo notato una differenza solo per quanto riguarda la velocità di lettura sotto carico continuo. In questo caso, il kit Intel NUC 13 Pro ha generalmente fornito prestazioni migliori, anche se il kit Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition non ha mai avuto problemi nel mantenere stabili i livelli di prestazione. L'Intel NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition Kit può essere equipaggiato con due dispositivi di archiviazione in totale. Va notato che il secondo slot può essere dotato solo di un SSD M.2 2242. Inoltre, questa connessione supporta solo velocità SATA, un aspetto da tenere presente.
