A tutto gas. L'hardware del Pavilion (Ryzen 7 4800H, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q) gestisce tutti i giochi per computer moderni senza problemi sullo schermo opaco da 15,6 pollici (IPS, Full HD, 144 Hz). Quest'ultimo ottiene punti con tempi di risposta rapidi e una buona riproduzione dei colori. Il tutto è completato da un SSD NVMe e 16 GB di RAM (modalità dual-channel).

Grazie all'APU Ryzen 7 4800H e al core grafico GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q, il Pavilion Gaming può gestire sullo schermo tutti i giochi per computer più recenti senza problemi. La risoluzione Full HD e le impostazioni di alta e massima qualità possono essere normalmente utilizzate.

Il modello di punta della serie Pavilion Gaming 15 offre prestazioni elevate ad un prezzo interessante.

L'hardware è dotato di 16 GB di RAM (2x 8 GB, modalità dual-channel, 32 GB max.). Con 512 GB, lo spazio di memoria è un po' poco per un portatile gaming. Dovrebbe essere possibile sostituire il veloce SSD NVMe. In alternativa, è possibile installare in aggiunta un'unità di memoria da 2,5 pollici. Tutte le procedure di manutenzione e di aggiornamento richiedono la rimozione del pannello inferiore.

La durata della batteria è perfettamente accettabile, ma non raggiunge i valori molto buoni dei modelli di fratelli costruiti in modo identico. La tastiera chiclet (retroilluminazione verde, due livelli di luminosità) si è dimostrata adatta all'uso quotidiano. D'altra parte, il portatile non ha una generosa configurazione di porte, ma sono disponibili le connessioni più necessarie.

Il display IPS (Full HD, 144 Hz) non è nulla di spciale con una superficie opaca, angoli di visualizzazione stabili, alto contrasto, buona luminosità, tempi di risposta rapidi e ottima riproduzione dei colori. Anche la copertura dello spazio colore è piacevole.
