Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Il Nokia 3 e uno smartphone entry level solido, e che forse è sufficiente in questo segmento di mercato. Tuttavia il dispositivo sorprende anche con buoni punteggi in alcune aree, come la luminosità dello schermo, il contrasto, i consumi e le bande disponibili LTE.

Questo gli consente di farsi notare in questa categoria, ma ci sono anche alcuni punti deboli che devono essere considerati. Esistono fotocamere nettamente superiori in questa fascia di prezzo è, in termini di prestazioni, esistono dispositivi più potenti sul mercato - come l'Xperia E5. Inoltre le casse non vanno molto bene ed il GPS non è preciso ma si tratta di aspetti che sono normali in questa fascia di prezzo.

Schermo luminoso e con contrasto elevato, consumi contenuti, case carino - il Nokia 3 si posiziona bene nella categoria entry-level. Tuttavia, non bisogna puntare molto sulla fotocamera in quanto lo smartphone ha il suo punto debole in questo aspetto.

Il case stiloso e i risultati del test buoni fanno ben sperare per il Nokia 3 nel settore entry-level. A breve anticipiamo i test del fratello maggiore in quanto Nokia a breve proverà a convincere anche i clienti della fascia media.
