Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

L'Acer Aspire 3 A315-21-651Y è un semplice portatile da ufficio da 15.6" da usare a casa. L'APU ha prestazioni sufficienti per gestire applicazioni da ufficio ed internet. Il portatile si scalda davvero poco. E' anche silenzioso con ogni livello di carico, ma lo strano controllo della ventola rovina tutto.

L'Aspire 3 A315-21 è un semplice portatile da ufficio che riesce a gestire facilmente le applicazioni quotidiane.

L'SSD conferisce velocità al sistema. Non ci sono limiti di spazio, visto che l'SSD si affianca ad un hard drive da 1 TB e 2.5". La tastiera è ragionevolmente buona e sopperisce a tutte le esigenze domestiche. Il display matto da 15.6" non vincerà alcun premio. E' scuro, con contrasto basso, e non ha angoli di visuale stabili.

Ai nostri occhi, il prezzo dell'Aspire è il suo principale problema. Al momento della recensione, il dispositivo costa poco meno di 500 Euro (~$575; versione USA $418). Alcuni modelli con struttura quasi identica, di Aspire 3 A315-51 Intel-based hanno un prezzo simile. Le CPUs Intel di quelle macchine sono nettamente più potenti delle APUs AMD. Inoltre, quei modelli hanno una migliore autonomia.
