A pochi giorni dall'ultima conferma ufficiale, gli organizzatori del Computex hanno deciso di rimandare l'evento a fine settembre nella speranza che l'emergenza sanitaria legata al Coronavirus possa rientrare e far tornare le attività alla normalità. Nonostante questa comunicazione crediamo che il Computex possa subire ulteriori ritardi o eventuali cancellazioni; il virus è in continua espansione e solo in questi giorni si stanno registrando maggiori casi negli Stati Uniti. Per un ritorno completo alla normalità saranno necessari diversi mesi ed è probabile, secondo quanto riportato da numerosi studi, che si arrivi al prossimo inverno.

Naturalmente si tratta solo di supposizioni catastrofiche e ci auguriamo che l'emergenza possa rientrare il prima possibile. Non è la prima volta che assistiamo ad una riprogrammazione del Computex: il precedente nel 2004 con l'emergenza SARS.
