Sorgente: Everyeye.it Italiano

Sorgente: HDblog.it Italiano

Sorgente: Quotidiano Hardware Upgrade Italiano

Sorgente: Smart World Italiano

77% Samsung Galaxy A57 vs Galaxy S26 Plus: Do you even need a flagship?
Sorgente: Phone Arena Inglese EN→IT
The Galaxy A57 5G is no flagship, that much is clear, but it's a very capable phone for daily use and its thin and light design is an absolute delight. If you don't do a lot of gaming or dabble into more heavier tasks often, you will find it sufficient. It's a good average phone that performs mostly... well, average. If that sounds like you, you don't really need to spend a small fortune on a flagship. What will you miss out on? Well, wireless charging, a proper functioning fingerprint scanner, good zoom quality, and slower storage/transfer speeds. If you, however, care about those things and want a phone that will remain fast for years to come, the $500 price premium is definitely worth considering.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus vs Galaxy S25 Plus: Here's which one to get
Sorgente: GSM Arena Inglese
It's probably not worth getting the Samsung Galaxy S26+ if you already have the Galaxy S25+, but what if you are now in the market for large-screen flagship without the flagship price? Is the new version good enough to justify the price premium? We pitted these two against each other to see if that's the case. Should you go with the latest or save some cash?

Samsung Galaxy S26+ Review: Balanced Power in a Slim Flagship
Sorgente: Igeekphone Inglese EN→IT
Powered by the customized Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Ultra, the phone handles daily use and popular games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail smoothly without issues. Battery life is also solid, with a 4900mAh cell lasting a full day. It supports 45W wired and 20W wireless charging for convenient top-ups. There are a few compromises. The lack of a 5x periscope zoom limits long-range photography compared to Ultra models, and users must buy the charging adapter separately since it’s not included in the box. Compared to the S26 Ultra’s focus on maximum power, the S26+ is more about comfort, balance, and usability.

80% Samsung Galaxy S26+ review: The ‘Plus Buy’ that holds its ground
Sorgente: The Times of India Inglese EN→IT
The Galaxy S26+ continues to play a familiar role in Samsung’s flagship lineup. The smartphone delivers a strong display, reliable day-to-day performance and improved battery life. These are areas where the device feels consistent and dependable. At the same time, the camera system, while good in daylight and for selfies, shows some limitations in low light and zoom. Charging speeds also remain unchanged, which may feel behind some competitors. At a starting price of Rs 1,19,999, the Galaxy S26+ sits in a space where expectations are high. It does enough to justify its position for users who want a large-screen flagship without stepping up to the Ultra model. Though it may not feel like a big upgrade, Galaxy S26+ remains a balanced flagship that gets most things right for everyday use.

80% Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus review: This phone will test your limits
Sorgente: India Today Inglese EN→IT
The Galaxy S26 Plus is packed with capable hardware and well-optimised software. It delivers a big, immersive display, reliable performance, and strong battery life. For someone who wants a big phone without stepping all the way into Ultra territory, it does make sense. Be that as it may, the S26 Plus starts at Rs 1,19,999 in India. The S25 Plus launched at around Rs 99,999, which means there is a price jump of roughly Rs 20,000. For the extra money, you get a newer chip, larger battery, sharper QHD+ display, and One UI 8.5. But at the same time, this pricing brings it closer to the Ultra, which starts at Rs 1,39,999 — a difference of about Rs 20,000. In fact, with discounts, the gap may become even smaller, making the comparison harder to ignore. And that gap matters. Because when you look at what the Ultra offers, it starts to feel like the more complete package. You get a more advanced camera system, S Pen support, and exclusive display features that are simply not available on the S26 Plus. In other words, the final decision comes down to how much money you’re happy to shell out.

86% Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ Review: A safe bet
Sorgente: Techlusive Inglese EN→IT
The Samsung Galaxy S26 and Samsung Galaxy S26+ feel like phones that don’t try too hard to impress, and that’s both their biggest strength and weakness. If you’re someone who values consistency over experimentation, these phones will fit right in your daily routine without giving you much to complain about. The Galaxy S26 is clearly meant for those who still prefer a compact flagship without compromising on performance. The S26+, on the other hand, makes more sense for those who want a bigger display and stronger battery life without stepping into Ultra territory. And you won’t regret it honestly. In fact, if media consumption and battery are your priorities, the Plus feels like the more practical choice between the two. But we can’t ignore that at their current pricing, the competition is hard to ignore. Phones like the Vivo X300, OPPO Find X9, or even the iPhone 17 offer more exciting camera systems. And then there’s the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra itself, which adds that extra “wow” factor.

Samsung Galaxy S26+ vs Galaxy S26 Ultra: Which one to get?
Sorgente: GSM Arena Inglese
The Galaxy S26+ and S26 Ultra define Samsung’s premium strategy for 2026. This year, the Ultra separates itself with the Privacy Display and faster 60W charging, while the Plus offers a lighter, equally high-performance alternative. Does the Ultra’s 200MP quad-camera system justify the higher price tag, or is the Plus the smarter buy? 71% Samsung Galaxy S26+ Review in Short: The “Ladder Phone” that Nudges You Toward the Ultra
Sorgente: Exhibit.tech Inglese EN→IT
Here's why the S26+ feels like a ladder phone. It exists right between the affordable flagship meant for compact phone lovers and the no-compromise flagship. And when buyers compare the options, the decision tree often looks like this: Spend less and get the S26 with almost the same cameras and performance, or spend a little more and get the S26 Ultra with dramatically better cameras and extra flagship features. Which makes the S26+ feel like the step in between that quietly pushes people upward.

Galaxy S26+ Quick Review: The Awkward Middle Child
Sorgente: Sam Mobile Inglese EN→IT
This phone at MSRP is a tough sell. It’s fantastic, and you’ll be happy using it. But you’ll have the constant thought in the back of your mind that you could’ve gotten something much better for only a little bit more. My advice would be to wait a couple of months for this phone to go on sale. This phone at $899 / £899 or less would be a good deal for the hardware, with all the software benefits attached. You can also take advantage of carrier deals and trade-in offers to bring that cost down.

Samsung Galaxy S26+ review
Sorgente: Sam Mobile Inglese EN→IT
So, should you buy the Galaxy S26+? Honestly, it's a tough one. Samsung has raised the price but hasn't given you much in return, and the same problem that has plagued the Plus model for years remains: there's still not enough separating it from the base S26 beyond a larger display and a bigger battery. On top of that, most buyers outside the US and China are paying a premium price for a phone that doesn't even run the best chip available. The Exynos 2600 is a capable processor, but knowing that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 exists and you're not getting it is hard to ignore. That said, the S26+ is still a good phone, and anyone buying it will have a genuinely good experience, as long as they're not expecting the best Samsung has to offer. It's a particularly solid choice if you're upgrading from an S23+ or older, or stepping up from a mid-range phone to a proper flagship for the first time. If neither of those applies to you, though, the calculus gets harder. S25+ owners have no real reason to upgrade, and if you want the best Samsung cameras or the fastest chip, the Ultra is where you should be looking. And if you're tempted to save some money and go for the S25+ instead, that honestly wouldn't be a bad decision, either.

80% Samsung S26 Plus Review: Consistently fine and utterly boring
Sorgente: Digital Trends Inglese EN→IT
You should buy the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus if what you want is a safe, reliable flagship that simply works – no drama, no surprises. It delivers strong performance, excellent display quality, smooth software, and dependable cameras that rarely disappoint. In daily use, it feels fast and polished, and even under load, it maintains consistent performance without erratic behaviour. But here’s the catch – the S26 Plus doesn’t give you a compelling reason to choose it. It doesn’t innovate, it doesn’t stand out, and it doesn’t push boundaries in any meaningful way. It feels like a continuation rather than an upgrade, offering an experience that is very similar to its predecessors. If you value consistency and familiarity, it’s a solid buy. But if you’re looking for excitement, cutting-edge features, or clear value differentiation, you may find it underwhelming for its price.

60% Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus review: The afterthought
Sorgente: Expert Reviews Inglese EN→IT
Samsung bumping the Galaxy S26 Plus up to the same price as last year’s S25 Edge feels like a Hail Mary: it knows that this is the least popular model in the series and only loyalists who are already sold on the format can be relied upon to buy it. So why not try to squeeze a little more out of them to make up for the inevitably mediocre sales numbers? If that describes you, enjoy. You’ll be overpaying but end up with a solid phone that ticks the basic boxes well enough. If not, you can do better than this. Pick up the Honor Magic 8 Pro if you want better cameras while keeping the same software support, or go for the OnePlus 15 to net class-leading battery life – albeit with slightly weaker software support. Whichever way you slice it, there’s very little reason to buy the Galaxy S26 Plus, and, at this point, it feels best for Samsung to put its middle child out to pasture.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is a slick phone, from one end to the other. It feels fast and responsive, the look is immaculate, if familiar, and the camera has the chops to keep up with the most demanding of photographers. It’s not an aggressively forward-looking phone in all respects, though. Battery tech is what sticks out the most in day-to-day use. While rivals from Xiaomi, Oppo and co. forge ahead with high-capacity Silicon-Carbon batteries and their long-standing ultra-fast charging, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is all too easy to drain down in a day.

70% Samsung Galaxy S26 & S26+ review: As good as the S25?
Sorgente: Hardware Zone Inglese EN→IT
Last year, we said it didn’t matter if the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ were boring, as long as they were good. That has changed. Samsung has seen fit to raise prices on these phones with no obvious improvement to their predecessor. This does a disservice to an otherwise excellent and stable Galaxy S series, because it makes it hard for us to tell people why they should buy a Galaxy S26 or S26+ over the previous models. Yes, this year’s phones are very good, if not one of the best options for flagship phones, but we also have to be prudent and judicious when recommending new and shiny things to people. The change to Samsung’s own processor did not yield extraordinary gains over established flagship chips like the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or the MediaTek Dimensity 9500. This also hurts the two phones’ value proposition when the obvious mass market details like displays, cameras, and battery uptimes are largely similar year-on-year.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, available for Rs 1,18,999 on Amazon India, remains a more balanced option and was Samsung's top flagship for 2025.

Sorgente: Digit.in Inglese EN→IT
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus feels like a phone that’s confident in what it is, sticking to a formula that works. It delivers a well-rounded flagship experience, focusing on reliability and balance in an increasingly competitive segment. On one hand, there is a lot to like here. The design remains premium and durable, maintaining a classic aesthetic that has aged well. The display continues to be one of Samsung’s strongest assets: accurate, bright and consistently reliable across different use cases. In day-to-day usage, the phone performs exactly as you would expect from a flagship, with smooth navigation, stable gaming performance and a software experience that feels polished and long-term ready, especially with the promise of 7 years of software updates. However, you also need to see that the Galaxy S26 Plus prioritises refinement over some drastic and radical change. Performance, while strong, is tuned for efficiency, and the slim chassis means the device manages sustained loads by balancing output. The camera system, despite being reliable and capable, stays true to the hardware seen in previous generations. It delivers good results, providing a familiar experience for users upgrading from older Plus models. Battery life is also dependable, maintaining the standard set by its predecessors. Ultimately, the Galaxy S26 Plus is a safe, dependable flagship. It doesn’t try to reinvent the formula, and for many users, that consistency will be a strength. It may come across as a device that is perfecting its current ground, making it a solid choice for those who value a predictable, high-quality experience over experimental features.

Both phones offer arguably the best software experience on Android, a build quality that feels premium in every sense, and set a benchmark when it comes to processor architecture. Performance is fast, and the overall experience is refined as well. On the other hand, it's hard to ignore how little has changed. At this point, it feels like Samsung is testing the limits of brand loyalty by sticking with 8-bit displays, low PWM dimming, three-generation-old camera hardware, and slow charging speeds. Now, to address the question of whether you should buy the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+. If you're upgrading from a much older Galaxy phone, both of them make a fairly strong case. But for those who have a recent S-series model, the improvements are definitely not significant enough to warrant a switch. To enjoy all of the latest bells and whistles, you'll either have to shell out for the Galaxy S26 Ultra or look toward the increasingly capable competition, including the likes of iPhone 17, Oppo Find X9, Vivo X300, and iQOO 15 — all of which offer a better experience on different fronts.

80% The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is either someone’s goldilocks phone or the forgotten middle child
Sorgente: Techradar Inglese EN→IT
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is exactly what I expected it to be: a solid mid-tier Android smartphone that does enough to be great but doesn’t quite make it to excellence. Powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset for Galaxy, the S26 Plus topped even the most premium competitors on performance. Jumping into games like Destiny Rising on the highest graphics is a breeze, and you can genuinely expect to enjoy performance that's largely comparable to the best gaming phones on Samsung's latest flagship middle child. The S26 Plus' 6.7-inch display is just as bright and colorful as the S26 Ultra's, highlighting all of the gorgeous colors in my favorite media content. Its premium svelte design is stunning in certain colorways, too, and the near bezel-less face makes for an immersive viewing experience.

60% I spent two weeks with the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus — and only one is worth buying
Sorgente: Android Authority Inglese EN→IT
I don’t think either the Galaxy S26 or the S26 Plus is particularly impressive. These are effectively the same phones as last year, which were the same phones as the year before that, and so on. However, while we can usually recommend both the base and Plus models for committed Samsung fans, I don’t think that’s true with the S26 series. If you like Samsung phones and desperately need an upgrade, the base model Galaxy S26 is a fine choice. It has the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip as the other two more expensive S26 models, the same cameras as the S26 Plus, and comes in a much more comfortable, pocketable form factor than its two larger siblings. As you might have heard, the S26 is more expensive this year, but it also comes with double the storage — 256GB instead of 128GB. That’s $100 more than the 128GB Galaxy S25 and $40 more expensive than the 256GB version. It’s not ideal, but it could have been a lot worse. It could have been like the Galaxy S26 Plus. Samsung’s Plus model has always been the awkward middle child of the Galaxy S family, and this year, it simply doesn’t make any sense at all. There’s no storage upgrade like the S26 benefits from, but the S26 Plus is still more expensive. The 256GB model sees a $100 price increase to $1,100, while the 512GB variant was hit with a whopping $180 price increase to $1,300.

90% Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ review: Familiar flagship experience
Sorgente: Tech2.in.com Inglese EN→IT
The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ may not be the most exciting upgrades, but they quietly get almost everything right. They are fast, reliable, and polished in a way that makes everyday use feel effortless. Yes, the lack of major upgrades and the price hike can feel a bit disappointing, especially if you are coming from last year’s models. But if you are upgrading from an older device, both phones still deliver a solid flagship experience without any real compromises. Choosing between the two ultimately comes down to your preference. If you want a compact, easy-to-handle phone that fits seamlessly into your daily routine, the Galaxy S26 is the one to go for. But if your usage leans more towards gaming, streaming, and immersive viewing, the Galaxy S26+ with its larger display makes a stronger case. That said, there is one more thing to consider. At Rs 1,19,999, the Galaxy S26+ sits uncomfortably close to the Ultra. And at that point, stretching your budget a little further might actually get you a more feature-packed device.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus Review | Upgrade to Ultra?
Sorgente: Tech Spurt Inglese
Reviewing Samsung's Galaxy S26 Plus (Exynos 2600 model from the UK), after testing it as my full-time phone for a week. Here's my thoughts on the camera abilities, battery life, gaming performance and everyday real-world use. Is the Samsung S26 Plus a weak alternative to that Ultra smartphone? Well, vs the Ultra, you have few real upgrades here. In fact, thanks to the switch from Snapdragon to Exynos, this generation isn't as strong for battery performance compared with the previous generation. The Samsung S26 Plus can still play the latest, most demanding games like Wuthering Waves, but don't expect to spend long before the power is drained. This big-screen Galaxy phone sports a sadly familiar camera setup, although the good news is that image processing has been slightly improved. The Samsung S26 Plus can take quite crisp night photos, although it still occasionally struggles with action pics with kids and pets. Likewise, the zoom camera isn't so hot in low light.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus review: Comfortable upgrade, with familiar flaws
Sorgente: Business Standard Inglese EN→IT
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus gets most of the fundamentals right. The display is strong and consistent, the software experience is refined, and performance is smooth for everyday use. The camera system is dependable, and the overall experience feels stable across different use cases. However, it falls short in areas that matter for long-term usability. The heating issues during both light and heavy usage are difficult to overlook. The redesigned camera module also introduces practical inconveniences, from wobble to dust accumulation. This is a phone that works well for general use and media consumption, but it is not ideal for users who prioritise sustained performance, especially in gaming. It remains a well-rounded flagship, but some rough edges are hard to ignore.

If I’m going to be completely honest, and so as not to beat around the bush, while I can and would recommend this phone to people, at the $200 higher price point, I would only say you should buy this device if you want the larger display and larger battery, which doesn’t last as long, at least in my case. For me personally, I prefer the larger display for mobile games and for watching videos. If you have smaller hands and don’t like larger phones, then you’re better off spending less money and getting the Galaxy S26 instead. They’re both essentially the same exact phone. Where the only real differences are the display size, resolution, and battery capacity. Both phones are good. So, if you don’t care about the larger display, get the Galaxy S26. If you want the larger display, get the Galaxy S26 Plus.

The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are easily some of the best Android phones you can buy. They’re faster and longer-lasting than almost anything in their price range, and their displays and designs remain some of the slickest around. The S26+ is particularly compelling, as you’re getting a fantastic 6.7-inch screen for a little less than the price of other big phones like the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Samsung’s own Galaxy S26 Ultra. But with these phones now starting at $900 for the S26 and $1,100 for the S26+, the math gets a little trickier.

Of the technical complaints, the only thing that can be noted is the heating of the Exynos 2600 under prolonged loads (which will be noticeable only to gamers) and the lack of autofocus in the ultra-wide-angle camera.

I like to imagine the kind of person who would want to buy a phone as I wrap up a review, but I'm struggling with the Galaxy S26 Plus. It's not a case of it being a bad phone — it does everything you could ask of a premium Samsung phone. But the target audience feels very narrow. On its face, the S26 Plus still looks like good value compared to other flagship phones available today if you're purely interested in screen space, even accounting for the higher price. For photography or battery life, the Ultra does it better, while also offering unique elements like its Privacy Display. For performance, or AI features, the standard S26 does all the same things as the S26 Plus, but for less money.

Another year, another Galaxy S Plus model that tastes like reheated leftovers. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing inherently wrong with the Galaxy S26 Plus—it's a boringly decent phone that's sadly outshined by its slightly pricier, better-camera-wielding, and S Pen-featuring Galaxy S26 Ultra cousin. The whole existence of the Galaxy S26 Plus is questionable to me, as the economic side of owning one doesn't really make sense. Now, should you buy the Samsung Galaxy S26+? This is such a tough question to answer, honestly. I have to use the Malaysian pricing for this part so your consensus may vary because I am going to compare with the previous generation’s price. At the time of scripting this review, the entire S26 series is actually way much more expensive than the previous generation. This is also the first price hike that I’ve seen that is caused by the global DRAM shortage that effects RAM and SSD, but the price is quite egregious to say the least. Now, you might say other brands are very low in price – so why not get those? Well, their price hikes are coming soon too.But in the uniqueness of the Galaxy S26+, I’d say you can just get it now and score the free double storage upgrade, or wait till the price drops. I’m not sure how much the price will drop since there’s a DRAM shortage that we still don’t see the end of. In any case, I assume Samsung will bring the latest One UI 8.5 alongside all of the new features to the previous generations as well, but at a later date. And since we have that in mind, maybe you can also consider getting the S25+ too. The price of that is waaaaaaaaaay lower right now.

While all three of the new Galaxy S26 phones are excellent, the S26 Ultra is the standout. It’s the most expensive of the range, though oddly, it has had a smaller price increase than the others. While the smaller, more affordable S26 and S26 Plus lack some of these standouts, they are beautifully designed and effective, with strong performance, including for Samsung’s latest AI features.

The Galaxy S26 series is not a radical new start. The design and camera continue to develop cautiously, but there are no real hardware revolutions. Instead, Samsung is clearly shifting the focus towards AI, display technology, and system integration. Anyone expecting a classic hardware upgrade may be disappointed. Those who want to see where smartphones are heading as personal assistance systems will get a very interesting outlook here. The new Samsung Galaxy S26 phones — the S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra — mostly resemble the previous versions. The design, for one, is largely the same. Like most mainstream phones, the S26 phones come with rounded corners and flat sides. The easier way to distinguish the S26 from last year's models is to look at the rear cameras. Unlike the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which has seen a number of meaningful hardware changes, the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus have to rely more on Samsung's new AI features to differentiate themselves from the phones that came before, plus a small increase in display and battery size for the basic S26. I would add the new chipsets as a plus point as well, but we don't know yet whether the Exynos 2600 will match up to (or perhaps even beat) the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. This lack of upgrades perhaps makes for a higher threshold to clear for these phones to be worthy replacements of what you're already using. Samsung’s Galaxy AI umbrella is growing by the day, and at CES 2026, the brand showcased how it’s taking AI beyond smartphones and integrating it into other segments, such as appliances. Advancements in AI are happening at breakneck speed, and with the new S26 series, the brand is showing how the core aspects of AI — task automation, productivity enhancement, image editing, photography, etc — are finally coming together meaningfully, like pieces of a puzzle. These new Samsung devices are much more than smartphones now — they’re AI-enabled systems or platforms designed to enhance, speed up, and smoothen everyday tasks, and in turn, improve lives.

Commenti
