Recensione del Lenovo ThinkCentre M90n-1 Nano IoT. Dispositivo di test gentilmente fornito da Lenovo.

Il Lenovo ThinkCentre M90n Nano IoT è un dispositivo interessante. Questo è sicuramente destinato ad essere un desktop consumer. Chi è interessato all'acquisto di un mini PC Lenovo per uso domestico o aziendale dovrebbe considerare il modello non-IoT, il ThinkCentre M90n Nano. I potenziali acquirenti possono anche guardare i vari NUC offerti da Intel.

L'IoT è invece destinato a una distribuzione aziendale su larga scala, dove il funzionamento silenzioso, l'ingombro ridotto e il basso consumo energetico sono obbligatori. In queste aree, il Nano IoT ha successo. Il dispositivo è piccolo, consuma poca energia, ha un insieme di porte per gli utenti aziendali ed è completamente silenzioso.

Come suggerisce il nome, il Nano IoT è utilizzato al meglio come dispositivo "Internet of Things". In casi di uso normale, il Nano IoT si blocca e si scalda. Il dispositivo si surriscalda e lo strozzamento termico compromette le prestazioni.

In casi d'uso specifici in cui un computer è necessario per brevi calcoli di transazioni (come in un punto vendita o come parte di un array di server), il Nano IoY ha senso. Altrimenti, il Nano IoY non vale il suo prezzo relativamente alto. I consumatori dovrebbero sicuramente guardare altrove.
