Un BlackBerry senza tastiera fisica! Non è accaduto nulla di simile mai prima d'ora. Il BlackBerry Motion mostra che è possibile fare a meno della tastiera fisica. L'ultimo smartphone del brand si basa su Google Android OS invece del tradizionale sistema operativo BlackBerry. Il mercato di riferimento, tuttavia, resta ad essere quello business.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

I tempi d'oro di BlackBerry OS sono andati, tuttavia gli smartphones BlackBerry continuano a rivolgersi agli utenti business - e lo stesso fa il BlackBerry Motion. Sfortunatamente, questo smartphone non ha l'ultima versione Android (8.1 Oreo) e gira su Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Di conseguenza, il BlackBerry Motion dovrebbe  dovrebbe ricevere updates per un lungo periodo.

In aggiunta, lo smartphone BlackBerry ha diverse funzioni business. Il BlackBerry Hub, con il quale avrete una panoramica dei canali di comunicazione. Anche la sicurezza gioca un ruolo importante. La suite di sicurezza “DTEK” è preinstallata e il BlackBerry Motion può essere facilmente sbloccato con un lettore di impronte affidabile, che funziona anche da cursore. I clienti business dovrebbero essere felici anche del case resistente a polvere ed acqua e per la grande autonomia. 

BlackBerry si reinventa e si ripropone nel regno della sicurezza dei dati con un sistema operativo moderno. Tuttavia, ci sono smartphones che hanno fotocamere e CPUs migliori con un prezzo simile. 

Non ci è piaciuto il display del BlackBerry Motion. 5.5" sono sufficienti. Ha una adeguata risoluzione Full HD e risponde in modo preciso al tocco. Tuttavia, non è particolarmente luminoso. Con 2 GHz, la CPU se la cava, ma forse a volte avrebbe bisogno di maggiore potenza. Rispetto ad altri dispositivi in questa fascia di prezzo, entrambe le fotocamere sono deludenti.
