I tempi di risposta del display mostrano quanto sia veloce lo schermo a cambaire da un colore all'altro. Tempi di risposta lenti poccono creare sovrapposizioni negloi oggetti in movimento. Specialmente i giocatori patiti del 3D dovrebbero usare uno schermo con rempi di risposta bassi.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Con l'XMG 17 - L17wzw Schenker Technologies abbiamo una buona macchina gaming da 17", che riesce a bilanciare mobilità e potenza molto meglio rispetto ad altri portatili high-end.

Durante il gaming, dovreste mettere il portatile in modalità G-Sync. Tuttavia, quando non state giocando, allora può essere una buona idea usare la tecnologia Optimus, in modo da usare sempre la scheda grafica migliore in ogni situazione.  

I componenti interni si trovano in un case che sembra ben fatto ed è sorprendentemente sottile, ha ottimi dispositivi di input, molte porte ed un sistema audio ok. Grazie all'ottima copertura del colore, lo schermo 4K rappresenta un altro buon motivo per procedere all'acquisto.

Ciò che non ci piace molto è la rumorosità della ventola sotto sforzo. Durante il gaming, questo 17" diventa molto rumoroso, vi consigliamo di usare un buon paio di cuffie quando provate ad usare i videogiochi.
