The MSI Cyborg 15 (2026) isn't the best budget gaming laptop we've tested, but we still found a lot to like about it. This laptop has a striking, sensible design and faster gaming performance than some of its closest competitors. Its battery life is short, and the screen is dull, but these issues aren't new to the budget gaming category. The bigger problem with the Cyborg 15 is that cheaper systems have shown faster performance.

The standout feature of the Cyborg 15 is its excellent thermal management. Despite relying on a single-fan cooling system, the laptop keeps both the CPU and GPU running incredibly cool, even during sustained gaming sessions. This ensures a stable and reliable performance profile with no thermal throttling, a commendable feat for a budget machine. We also appreciate the unique, translucent design, which gives the laptop a distinct personality that is rare in this price bracket. The upgradeability is solid where it counts, offering two user-accessible RAM slots for future memory expansion. The inclusion of a physical privacy shutter for the webcam is a welcome touch for security, and the keyboard is comfortable with a vibrant 4-zone RGB backlight. Finally, the display on our unit is completely PWM-free, which is a significant benefit for eye comfort during long gaming marathons.

Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.

Core 7 240H: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 6 core ad alte prestazioni e 4 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading per 16 thread in totale.
