EN→ITFor the current £949 asking price, the new Erazer Deputy P1 is a genuine bargain. Both the system-wide and gaming-specific performance levels are impressive, and the ease with which you can add more memory and storage means you can grow the system as money allows. It’s also a well-made machine with a decent range of ports, 6GHz Wi-Fi and a rather fine keyboard – and don’t forget there’s also a MUX switch, albeit one buried in the BIOS. There are some negative points, as there always are with budget gaming machines, but given how much you get for your money with the Deputy P1 it’s easy to forgive such foibles. In short, if you have around a grand to spend on a gaming laptop and only one of the latest generation of mobile GPUs will do, I can’t currently think of a better way to spend it.

EN→ITThe Medion Erazer Deputy 15 P1 prioritises power above all, offering some beefy 1080p gaming performance for the price, an excellent port selection for its modest outlay, and average battery life. You may be left wanting more in terms of a generally stronger display and overall build quality, though. The Asus TUF Gaming A18 hits a similar price point and offers largely similar internal grunt, plus its battery life is over double the Medion option, and its larger 18-inch screen is much stronger. Going up the price ladder a little will get you to the likes of the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI will net you more grunt, more style and a dazzling OLED panel.

Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
