To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

çLo OnePlus 3T è un degno successore dello OnePlus 3. Tuttavia, l'impresa non è stata semplice per il produttore in quanto il modello precedente era già uno dei migliori smartphone high-end Android. Le modifiche per lo OnePlus 3T erano limitate, e questo vale anche in questo caso.

Update di successo: lo OnePlus 3T è solo un piccolo update dello OnePlus 3 e pertanto è uno dei migliori smartphones high-end, proprio come il predecessore.

Se conoscete già lo OnePlus 3, non avete bisogno dello OnePlus 3T, ma tutti gli altri si. Apprezzerete sicuramente la versione 128 GB dello smartphone. E' solo 40 Euro (~$42) più caro rispetto alla versione 64 GB nel negozio online del produttore, quindi è molto interessante anche per l'assenza del lettore microSD-card. Il SoC leggermente più veloce è una bella aggiunta, ma la differenza è limitata in pratica a causa delle temperature simili.

OnePlus ha montato sul nuovo 3T una batteria più grande, ma è quasi alla pari con lo OnePlus 3 visti i consumi superiori. Non vogliamo vogliamo soffermarci troppo sul test WLAN, perché il modello precedente aveva lo stesso problema, che era stato risolto da un update  OxygenOS. Un update ad Android 7 è annunciato per questo mese di dicembre.
