Il servizio di Apple gode poi di un'ottima reputazione: il software, proprio a causa delle sue limitazioni, è facile da usare e l'ecosistema è ben integrato. L'ecosistema Android ha invece i suoi aspetti negativi a causa della varietà di dispositivi su cui gira e ciò si manifesta nelle app che vanno in crash e nei malware. Sugli iPhone questi problemi non sono frequenti ma non posso consigliarvi di spendere una cifra simile per un dispositivo capace di offrire questo tipo di esperienza utente.

Come ho già anticipato in apertura, si può partire da diversi punti di vista per valutare un iPhone. Se ci guardiamo intorno possiamo facilmente essere disfattisti, perché ci sono troppe cornici intorno allo schermo, che è sempre un po’ grigino non essendo AMOLED e non si è adeguato al mercato in termini di risoluzione, perché la certificazione IP67 è arrivata tardi ed è inferiore a quella di alcuna concorrenza, perché la fotocamera è ottima ma ce ne sono anche di migliori, perché è sempre caro e non c’è espandibilità della memoria, perché iOS è ancora troppo chiuso in diversi ambiti, perché manca il mini-jack e via così all’infinito.

Giudizio del team : se avete visto foto e video ufficiale avrete notato come la sua estetica sia stata migliorata e sia davvero un punto di forza con un peso relativamente basso rispetto ad altri smartphone con stessa ampiezza di schermo. Sottile solo 7,1 mm presenta novità interessanti soprattutto per quanto riguarda lo schermo che potendo sfruttare la potenza di una GPU da sei core, permette di ottenere colori eccezionali ed una registrazione di video in 4K davvero incredibile con la fotocamera primaria che può registrare addirittura ad una risoluzione di 720p@240fps.

There’s no denying that Apple’s hardware is some of the best in the business, but the software is going to be very polarizing. If you like iOS, Apple makes a phone that’s more than capable of going toe-to-toe with the best that Samsung, LG, Google, or anyone else can put out. It may not win in every category (excluding the processor), but Apple’s selling point is their ecosystem; your iPhone talks to your iPad, which talks to your MacBook, and all of them share purchases, content, and will all get updated as soon as new software is available. This is the closest anybody has come to producing an iPhone. Not just in terms of design, but also features and price. It's very hard to distinguish between them. The problem, if you can even call it that, is that Apple has done this time and time again. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, two years ago, were the best Apple had created. While there are advancements in the hardware, I don’t see anything here that requires anyone with a device that’s two years old to upgrade.
