Facciamo le cose per bene. L'Honor 6A è una dichiarazione di guerra agli smartphones entry-level. Per circa $200, questo smartphone da 5" monta un case in plastica/metallo, SoC octa-core, Android 7, schermo HD ed una fotocamera da 13-MP. Vediamo come si comporta l'Honor 6A rispetto ai concorrenti entry-level.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

The display backlight flickers at 2232 Hz (Likely utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 20 % and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting.

The frequency of 2232 Hz is quite high, so most users sensitive to PWM should not notice any flickering.

In comparison: 57 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 6577 (minimum: 43 - maximum: 142900) Hz was measured.

Tempi di risposta del Display

I tempi di risposta del display mostrano quanto sia veloce lo schermo a cambaire da un colore all'altro. Tempi di risposta lenti poccono creare sovrapposizioni negloi oggetti in movimento. Specialmente i giocatori patiti del 3D dovrebbero usare uno schermo con rempi di risposta bassi.

Con il 6A Honor è riuscita a restare fedele al suo ideale di produrre smartphones con buone funzioni e prezzo contenuto. Questo 5" Android, costa $200 o meno, ma ha molto da offrire: un case ben realizzato in plastica e metallo, un display HD luminoso e ben regolato, ampia autonomia e prestazioni di sistema elevate.

Sebbene l'Honor 6A sia "solo" un economico dispositivo entry-level, offre prestazioni relativamente elevate e molte features.

Honor ha risparmiato sullo spazio di archiviazione, tuttavia, e solo metà degli originali 16 GB di spazio sono disponibili per l'utente. La fotocamera da 13-MP non è particolarmente eccitante e dovete accettare immagini di qualità mediocre. Honor dovrebbe anche aggiornare le patches di sicurezza Android, in quanto sono vecchie di oltre 3 mesi.
