Un portatile gaming bilanciato. Anche MSI utilizza la scheda grafica GeForce GTX 1070 nel GT62VR 7RE. Il processore è nuovo: ora si utilizza il Kaby Lake. Il resto delle features va bene: display IPS, SSD+HDD, e 16 GB di RAM.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

La combinazione del processore Kaby Lake quad core e la GeForce GTX 1070 riesce a gestire in modo fluido tutti i giochi attuali con risoluzione Full HD con settaggi massimi. Pro: nonostante il potente hardware, le temperature salgono in modo moderato. Il piccolo guadagno di prestazioni consente di avere risultati benchmark leggermente migliori, ma soggettivamente non si nota.

MSI realizza un portatile gaming complessivamente buono con il GT62VR 7RE.

Un veloce SSD SATA III consente di avere un sistema reattivo. Se le prestaioni dell'SSD non sono sufficienti per voi, potete sostituirlo con un modello più veloce PCIe/NVMe. E' possibile anche sostituire l'hard drive da 2.5". Poiché manca una cover di manutenzione, dovrete rimuovere tutto il lato inferiore del case.

Lo schermo matto Full HD IPS funziona con una frequenza di 60 Hz. E' luminoso, con molto contrasto, e angoli di visuale stabili. La tecnologia Nvidia G-Sync consente sequenze di immagini fluide.
