Con lo YOGA 510-14AST, Lenovo fornisce la versione accessibile del Yoga 510-15IKB che abbiamo testato. Ad un prezzo di circa 500 euro (~ $ 533), il 510-14AST Yoga costa ben 400 Euro (~ $ 427) in meno rispetto al modelo gemello testato. La nuova APU Stoney Bridge ha fatto una buona impressione: la CPU ha potenza sufficiente per le applicazioni previste (ufficio, Internet), e la GPU compete con l'HD Graphics 520 Intel e gestisce senza problemi i giochi.

Lo Yoga funziona silenziosamente con tutti i tipi di carico e si riscalda moderatamente. Un disco a stato solido garantisce un sistema fluido. Gli utenti che richiedono maggiore capacità di archiviazione rispetto ai 128 GB dell'SSD possono sostituirlo con un modello di maggiore capacità. La base del laptop deve essere rimossa per questa operazione. La tastiera installata è attraente nel complesso, e permette anche le sessioni di scrittura prolungate. L'autonomia della batteria è breve.

Lo schermo è deludente. I tecnici Lenovo a quanto pare credono che un pannello TN con angoli di visaule limitati sia una buona scelta per un convertibile.

Inoltre, è anche un modello a basso contrasto, e scuro che fornisce una riproduzione di colori limitata di fabbrica. Lenovo riduce notevolmente le attrattive dei dispositivi con la sua scelta dello schermo. Un peccato visto che Lenovo creato un dispositivo completo che avrebbe in realtà certamente trovato acquirenti. Non è evidentemente possibile scegliere un altro modello. Tutte le versioni 14AST disponibili al momento di prova sono montano questo schermo - incomprensibile.

Gli utenti che desiderano un pannello con angoli di visuale stabili dovranno optare per un modello di Yoga basato su Intel. Il 510-14IKB Yoga 80VB0081GE che costa 50 euro (~ $ 53) di più, viene fornito con un processore più potente Core i3-7100U e schermo Full HD IPS con angolo di visuale stabile. Quindi, non ci sono molti motivi per prendere un modello AMD-base.
