Impterfetto. Lenovo ha usato una scheda grafica davvero poco utile nel suo nuovo convertibile da 14". Per fortuna, gli altri componenti consentono al dispositivo di poter effettuare il suo lavoro come compagno da ufficio. La nostra recensione mostra come si pongono la sua autonomia breve e le altre pecche, rispetto alla concorrenza.

I tempi di risposta del display mostrano quanto sia veloce lo schermo a cambaire da un colore all'altro. Tempi di risposta lenti poccono creare sovrapposizioni negloi oggetti in movimento. Specialmente i giocatori patiti del 3D dovrebbero usare uno schermo con rempi di risposta bassi.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Prima di iniziare con le varie pecche, ricordiamoci che il prezzo è di 800 Euro. Per questo prezzo, crediamo che il display del Lenovo Yoga 510-14IKB sia sotto la media, ma a parte l'effetto "Bleeding", è accettabile. Tuttavia, non ci sono giustificazioni per le scarse prestazioni WLAN. Inoltre, il fatto che quasi nessun convertibile offra una cover di manutenzione, non salva il Lenovo dal fatto che non ne sia provvisto, in quanto questo avrebbe migliorato notevolmente la situazione. Ovviamente il produttore dichiara che questa soluzione ha permesso di avere un dispositivo sottile e leggero, ma comporta un prezzo in termini di riparazioni ed upgrade, pertanto sarebbe ragionevole trovare una soluzione intermedia.

Sul lato positivo, abbiamo una ottima costruzione e un case attraente. I meccanismi di sicurezza inoltre sorprendono in quanto pochi dispositivi di questo prezzo li offrono.

Lo Yoga dovrebbe costare molto di meno, in quanto Lenovo non aveva bisogno di una scheda grafica dedicata. Questa ragione, unitamente alla autonomia breve, ci ha lasciato un'impressione mista. Purtroppo non ci sentiamo di poter raccomandare questo dispositivo ai nostri lettori.
