NVIDIA pubblica i driver GeForce 442.50 WHQL

Il nuovo pacchetto software implementa diverse ottimizzazioni per i giochi Apex Legends: Season 4, l'espansione di The Division 2 "Warlords of New York" e ARK: Genesis Part 1. Inoltre viene aggiornata la lista dei monitor certificati G-Sync Compatible.

Come sopracitato, con questo nuova serie di driver NVIDIA ha ampliato la lista dei monitor certificati come "G-Sync Compatible", con tre modelli che rispondono ai nomi di AOC AG271FZ2, AOC AG271F1G2 e ASUS PG43U. Inoltre l'azienda ha apportato numerose correzioni di bug tra cui: gli improvvisi crash in Apex Legends e Mortal Kombat, i problemi di flickering con Zombie Army: Dead War 4 e un bug che portava al crash di Red Dead Redemption 2 durante il gameplay con API Vulkan con schede video NVIDIA Pascal o precedenti.

Purtroppo non tutti i bug sono stati risolti, il changelog suggerisce la presenza di ancora due errori: il bug grafico di Zombie Army: Dead War 4 e i problemi di flickering con Rainbow Six Siege se abbinato a API Vulkane e G-Sync attivato.

  • [Battleye][Low-Latency Mode]: Launching Battleye with NVIDIA Low Latency Mode set to Ultra may cause DWM to reset. [2834199]
  • [Twitch Studio]: The app shows corruption when Image Sharpening is enabled globally from the NVIDIA Control Panel [2811830]
  • Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed crashes when playing in a water level. [2826669]
  • [Zombie Army: Dead War 4][Vulkan]: Game may flicker when in-game HDR is enabled. [200585136]
  • [Red Dead Redemption 2][Vulkan]: Random crashes occur during gameplay on Pascal and older GPUs.[2822927]

Open Issues

  • [World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth][DirectX 12]: The game crashes when switched from DirectX 11 to DirectX 12 mode. [200574934]
  • [Zombie Army: Dead War 4][Ansel/Freestyle]: The Ansel & Freestyle tabs are unselectable. [2810884]
  • [Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege][Vulkan][G-SYNC]: When playing the game in Vulkan mode
  • with G-SYNC enabled, flickering occurs after switching the game between full-screen and windowed mode.[200578641]
