L'unità grafica GeForce consente anche di usare i giochi. Il portatile è silenzioso nell'utilizzo normale e in genere si scalda poco. Un veloce solid state drive garantisce un sistema veloce. La sostituzione dell'SSD dovrebbe essere possibile. Tuttavia, il case deve essere aperto. Nel complesso abbiamo apprezzato la tastiera di più rispetto a quella usata nei modelli precedenti. L'autonomia è abbastanza limitata. Come molti altri portatili, lo schermo del VivoBook è il punto debole. Asus non installa un modello particolarmente luminoso o con contrasto elevato.

L'Asus VivoBook X556UQ è un dispositivo completo e versatile del settore low-cost. Si notano i miglioramenti rispetto al predecessore.

Il nostro modello attualmente costa tra i 750 e i 770 Euro (~$836 to ~$859). Gli utenti che non vogliono un SSD e si accontentano di un hard drive convenzionale (1 TB) possono comprare il portatile per 650 Euro (~$725).
