Come i più piccoli PE60 e PX60, il PE70 Prestige non ha bisogno di offrire più di una rinfrescata per distinguersi dalle serie GE62 e GE72. Allo stato attuale, la serie Prestige risulta inutile se pensare di calibrare il display o semplicemente preferite l'esterno argento rispetto ai modelli GE neri. Il peso inferiore potrebbe aiutare in viaggio, ma la retroilluminazione scarsa e l'autonomia breve sono due passi indietro.
Come portatile multimedia, silenzioso, duraturo, e con opzioni migliori troviamo il Lenovo Y700, l'Acer Aspire Nitro, o l'Asus GL771. Questi modelli possono risultare più pesanti dell'MSI, ma i vantaggio ci sono in tutte le altre aree e li raccomandiamo rispetto al PE70 6QE.
