Troppo caro. Questo notebook Lenovo da 15.6 pollici ha dei buoni punteggi e una discreta dotazione, oltre a una buona potenza e la capacità di essere utilizzato per il gaming. L'autonomia della batteria è mediocre. Inoltre, Lenovo chiede un prezzo esorbitante per questo laptop, ben 999 Euro (~$1058).

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

The display backlight flickers at 50 Hz (Likely utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 10 % and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting.

The frequency of 50 Hz is very low, so the flickering may cause eyestrain and headaches after extended use.

In comparison: 59 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 4396 (minimum: 43 - maximum: 142900) Hz was measured.

Questo notebook Lenovo da 15,6 pollici ha sufficiente potenza di calcolo per tutti i campi di applicazione. La scheda grafica GeForce permette di giocare con fluidità. Il laptop si scalda con moderazione sul carico. Una buona unità SSD assicura la reattività del sistema, ed è supplementata da un disco fisso tradizionale da 2,5 pollici e 1 TB di capacità. Entrambi i dispositivi di archiviazione sono semplici da sostituire, poiché è possibile accedere ad essi dall'esterno (non è necessario aprire il case). La tastiera dà una buona impressione. Il pannello IPS ha un buon contrasto, ma potrebbe essere più luminoso.

Con l'IdeaPad 510-15IKB, Lenovo offre un computer ben equipaggiato, che però ha alcuni difetti nonostante il prezzo di poco inferiore a 1000 Euro (~$1059).

L'IdeaPad è dotato di una batteria a scarsa capacità (30 Wh). Di conseguenza, l'autonomia della batteria è mediocre. Sarebbe stata interessante una gestione più razionale delle ventole, per dare un po' più di silenziosità al sistema con scarsi carichi. Inoltre, nel 2016 ci attendiamo la presenza di una porta USB Type-C.
