Per quanto concerne le prestazioni, grazie al processore Core i5, l'HP Envy 15 x360 va bene. Il computer difficilmente si scalda e resta silenzioso. Tramite il BIOS potete disattivare la funzione "Fan Always On". In termini di operatività come convertibile (notebook, tablet, ecc.), HP sceglie un display incomprensibile. Lo schermo è un display TN con angoli limitati, ed il pannello non hoffre luminosità e contrasto adeguati. Un display IPS con angoli di visuale migliori è assolutamente necessario in un convertibile - specialmente per 700 Euro (~$762).

Con il suo display che gira a 360 gradi, l'HP Envy 15-u200ng x360 funziona in vari modi - tablet, notebook, ecc. I potenziali clienti devono decidere se è davvero utile per loro.

Un ulteriore punto debole del computer è il prezzo: HP richiede circa 700 Euro (~$762) per l'Envy. Il costo sarebbe giustificabile se i componenti hardware del dispositivo fossero migliori: due moduli di memoria in modalità dual-channel, un SSD, un display IPS, ed una batteria migliore - ci aspetteremmo queste features da un dispositivo che costa 700 Euro (~$762). Un solo anno di garanzia non migliora la situazione.
