L'Asus N752VX-GC131T è un elegante portatile che può sostituire il PC desktop di casa considerando le dimensioni e le buone performance. L'Asus ha potenza più che sufficiente per le applicazioni di routine, ed anche i giochi possono risultare fluidi. Il sistema di raffreddamento è relativamente silenzioso grazie al limitato sviluppo di calore. L'SSD da 256 GB in formato M.2 garantisce un veloce booting. Il sistema è pronto da usare in appena 12 secondi. L'hard drive da 1 TB fornisce abbastanza spazio. Un portatile desktop replacement dovrebbe avere anche decenti dispositivi di input. La tastiera fa una buona impressione, ma raccomandiamo di disabilitare la retroilluminazione in ambienti luminosi. Il superbo pannello Full HD IPS con ampi angoli di visuale è impressionante, ed è divertente lavorarci.

Asus ha fatto bene molte cose con il suo pacchetto multimedia. Ha una CPU high-performance, un ottimo sound system e uno schermo sorprendente, tutto montato su uno chassis molto elegante.

I vantaggi dell'ultima linea Asus N752VX si trovano nell'implementazione della CPU generazione Skylake unitamente alla memoria di lavoro DDR4. Questo ha incrementato ulteriormente le prestazioni di calcolo. Uno schermo IPS è diventato lo standard, e c'è anche a disposizione un pannello UHD IPS se volete.

Non è cambiato molto per le performance gaming rispetto al predecessore. L'Asus gestisce i giochi degli ultimi anni con settaggi medi e qualche volta elevati. Attualmente titoli come "Far Cry Primal" o "The Division" a volta sovraccaricano la GPU. Gli utenti che guardano al futuro dovrebbero spendere di più ed optare per un modello con una GeForce GTX 970M o una GTX 980M.

Tuttavia, coloro che giocano solo occasionalmente o preferiscono guardare films avranno elevate performance video unite ad un ottimo sound system ottimizzato da Bang & Olufsen nell'Asus N752VX-GC131T. Lo chassis ha una costruzione high-quality, ed è attraente con una sottile illuminazione.
