Tecnicamente, il OnePlus 7T è un ottimo smartphone. OnePlus ha nuovamente installato componenti hardware, come processore, display, memoria, che appartengono ai top di gamma. Nonostante la terza fotocamera e l'app migliorata, la qualità fotografica è leggermente inferiore a quella di Huawei P30 Pro e Samsung Galaxy S10+ in termini di qualità. Questi smartphone di punta, già da sei mesi sul mercato, costano tra i 600 e i 700 euro e potrebbero così ostacolare OnePlus 7T.

Se fossi un possessore di OnePlus 7 un po' mi darebbe fastidio. Il nuovo modello "T" non è di certo indispensabile nell'uso di tutti i giorni, ma si migliora in maniera netta in tutto, o quasi. Oltre alla potenza in più, il nuovo modello ha un display molto più veloce e un comparto fotografico paragonabile allo scorso modello Pro. Non è un modello limitato ma un top di gamma a tutti gli effetti, cosa che non si può dire con il cellulare che va a sostituire nella line-up.

Non è ancora stato ufficializzato il prezzo, lo sarà il 10 ottobre durante la sua presentazione a Londra alla quale prenderò parte. La politica OnePlus è dei piccoli passi e prevedo un prezzo attorno ai 600 euro che per OnePlus tanti ma giustificati dalla qualità del prodotto. Mi è piaciuto molto: ottima autonomia, display bellissimo, superfluido e bel software. Peccato l'aumento di dimensioni, avrei differenziato più dal Pro che potrebbe essere molto simile al predecessore.

Oneplus 7T è un ottimo aggiornamento del 7. Non siamo molto favorevoli a un rinnovamento così rapido dei modelli in vendita, ciò non toglie che il 7T sia attualmente uno dei migliori smartphone nella sua fascia di prezzo. Il display a 90Hz offre un’esperienza d’uso che è ancora difficile trovare in molti smartphone concorrenti e le nuove fotocamere riducono il divario con quelle di altri top gamma.

Limitando il numero di prodotti a poche unità all'anno, il produttore cinese può meglio adattare la sua interpretazione di Android agli smartphone, correggere i bug e, nel tempo, migliorare continuamente il prodotto con nuove funzionalità. Il pacchetto hardware e software finemente sintonizzato è ciò che rende l'OnePlus 7T raccomandabile e non un singolo set di funzioni.

Non abbiamo ancora informazioni sulla disponibilità e sul prezzo di OnePlus 7 in Italia, in ogni caso è verosimile un posizionamento attorno ai 630 Euro, ed è questo il riferimento di cui abbiamo tenuto conto per la valutazione. OnePlus 7T è uno smartphone che ci è piaciuto, è concreto, ben costruito e pratico per l’utilizzo di tutti i giorni, inizialmente non colpisce forse per il design, ma col passare del tempo si sa far apprezzare sempre di più a suon di autonomia, belle foto, performance stabili e un software snello. Per noi è lo smartphone della maturità per OnePlus, quello che aggiusta un’annata così così e dona nuova linfa alla bella favola della start up cinese.

Le fotocamere sono quelle del "Pro" di 6 mesi fa, buone ma non aspettatevi miracoli. Come sempre è il software e l'esperienza complessiva d'utilizzo a farla da padrone.

That's not to say that you'd ever regret this purchase. It's a great phone with a great camera. La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).

SD 855+: SoC di fascia alta per smartphone che è stato introdotto nel 2019 e prodotto in 7 nm al TSMC. Integra un "Prime Core" basato su un'architettura ARM Cortex-A76 modificata con clock fino a 2,96 GHz. Altri tre core di prestazioni sono anch'essi basati sull'A76 ma con clock fino a 2,42 GHz. Inoltre, sono integrati quattro core a risparmio energetico basati sull'architettura ARM Cortex-A55 con clock fino a 1,8 GHz. Oltre ai core del processore, il SoC integra un modem X24 LTE (fino a 2 Gigbit download), un nuovo modem Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 6 ready, 60 GHz mmWave), Hexagon 690 DSP con nuovi core Tensor per l'elaborazione AI, uno Spectra 380 ISP con un motore di visione computerizzata integrato e un controller di memoria LPDDR4x integrato. Rispetto al normale Snapdragon 855, l'855 Plus offre una maggiore velocità di clock della GPU e della CPU.
