Realme X2 Pro è esattamente il flagship killer di cui il mercato aveva bisogno. Stiamo infatti parlando di uno smartphone dal costo di 449 euro in grado di offrire delle prestazioni da top di gamma che si avvicinano a quelle dei dispositivi da gaming, un ottimo schermo, un comparto fotografico convincente, un’eccezionale ricarica rapida, un design piacevole alla vista, un comparto audio stereo e una buona autonomia. Le uniche pecche sono da ricercarsi nel peso non esattamente contenuto, nella solita ColorOS (ma è in arrivo la settima versione che dovrebbe migliorare la situazione) e nella memoria non espandibile. A questo prezzo attualmente non è possibile trovare di meglio. La concorrenza è avvertita.

399 euro per il 6/64, 499 per 12/256 GB e va benissimo in ogni comparto. Si mangia i concorrenti a bocconi. Non si trova su Amazon ancora, si trova sul loro sito ufficiale. Dubbi aggiornamenti? Ne sono arrivati due ma magari non arrivano puntuali e frequenti come su Huawei ecc. Avesse le dimensione del Realme X2 sarebbe perfetto. Insomma, mi piace, non ha ecosistemi ma rimane un best buy: OnePlus e Xiaomi devono stare attenti.

What we could gather from all of this is that the Realme X2 Pro's only aspect that needs improving is the camera. For around the same price of €400-500, depending on the memory configuration, you can get a better camera experience. However, when you add the rest of the features into the mix, you can hardly do any better than the Realme. It checks all the right boxes in one fell swoop.

Offering up a Snapdragon 855-powered phone with 12GB of RAM for under €500 is an unquestionably strong start that'll no doubt turn heads, but despite all that it offers the X2 Pro will more likely get the ball rolling, rather than pull people away from their Samsung Galaxys, iPhones and Pixels in droves.

The Realme X2 Pro, meanwhile, has us truly excited. A niche started by Realme's OnePlus cousin, the flagship on a budget is a crowd favorite and we love a bargain as much as the next guy. Consider what's on offer for its €399/£349 asking price - Qualcomm SD855 Plus, in-screen fingerprint, quad cameras including 64MP main unit, all-glass coating design, 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen - and the first true flagship from Realme is quite astonishing. It'll have some small issues to address - no optical stabilisation or night mode in cameras, plus the confidence with software, and perhaps a resistance to the obscure brand name - but otherwise we're looking at an incoming new generation of the affordable flagship.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).

SD 855+: SoC di fascia alta per smartphone che è stato introdotto nel 2019 e prodotto in 7 nm al TSMC. Integra un "Prime Core" basato su un'architettura ARM Cortex-A76 modificata con clock fino a 2,96 GHz. Altri tre core di prestazioni sono anch'essi basati sull'A76 ma con clock fino a 2,42 GHz. Inoltre, sono integrati quattro core a risparmio energetico basati sull'architettura ARM Cortex-A55 con clock fino a 1,8 GHz. Oltre ai core del processore, il SoC integra un modem X24 LTE (fino a 2 Gigbit download), un nuovo modem Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 6 ready, 60 GHz mmWave), Hexagon 690 DSP con nuovi core Tensor per l'elaborazione AI, uno Spectra 380 ISP con un motore di visione computerizzata integrato e un controller di memoria LPDDR4x integrato. Rispetto al normale Snapdragon 855, l'855 Plus offre una maggiore velocità di clock della GPU e della CPU.
