L’MSI Prestige 15 con RTX 3050 è un buon laptop, anzi, sotto alcuni aspetti è un ottimo laptop. Per fare il punto della situazione riassumiamo i punti di forza e i punti deboli di questa macchina. A mio avviso, ciò che rende il Prestige 15 meno appetibile al pubblico rispetto la concorrenza è la mancanza di una soluzione OLED, in questa fascia di prezzo sta diventando uno standard. A proposito di prezzi, il suo prezzo attuale è di 1299€ ma se dovesse scendere a 999€ come accaduto per il modello con GTX 1650 diventerebbe un prodotto super raccomandabile se dovete montare video, fate fotoritocco o se vi dovesse servire molta potenza di calcolo anche in mobilità. Attualmente disponibile all’acquisto su Amazon Italia o su ollo Store.

You know, the latest technology from Intel and NVIDIA has definitely helped the Prestige 15 (A12Ux) in its quest to be one of the best business-productivity laptops on the market. Ultimately, the so-called Alder Lake-P Core i7-1280P is roughly the same as the Core i5-12500H in terms of performance. In addition to that, you get pretty comfortable input devices, and some biometric login options that do their job as intended. This includes an IR face recognition scanner, and a fingerprint reader, placed inside the touchpad area. Unfortunately, this means a small portion of the touchpad is unresponsive. MSI Prestige 15 (A12Ux)’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a good contrast ratio. Its backlight doesn’t flicker at any brightness level, which makes it safe in this aspect. Furthermore, the 96% sRGB coverage results in a vibrant image, while our Gaming and Web design profile will help you get the most out of the panel in terms of color accuracy. Of course, we have to talk about some downsides. One of them is the lack of memory expansion.

Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.

L'ammiraglia Alder Lake-P CPU con 6 core per le prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. Questo i7 è progettato per essere usato in computer portatili ultraleggeri; i suoi core performanti sono dotati della tecnologia Hyper-Threading che raddoppia i thread per un totale di 20 thread. La CPU funziona da 1.3 GHz a 4.8 GHz e supporta le caratteristiche vPro di livello "Enterprise". Il Core i7-1280P ha un TDP di 28 W e una GPU integrata Iris Xe da 96 EU.
