Contro

EN→ITAfter spending time with the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition Gen 11, I kept coming back to the same thought: it does not behave like a laptop that weighs just 975g. Older ultraportables often made their compromises obvious through throttled performance, limited battery life or even keyboards that are uncomfortable to type on.

If you're in the market for a thin and light laptop that delivers higher performance levels, then the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7i and Slim 7i Ultra have probably been on your radar. And while they're priced quite similarly and have a lot of common features, these two laptops are actually meant for two very different markets. So in this overview, let's explain who each targets and how they overlap...but also why you might want one over another.

EN→ITThe Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition felt just steps away from greatness last year, and, to its credit, it took some of those steps. There are several undeniable upgrades, such as the move to an OLED display, improved performance and battery life, and its stylish new look. However, the fairly dramatic bump in base price hurts what is otherwise an extremely compelling MacBook Air alternative. The Aura Edition features remain useful, but just feel underwhelming as part of a premium feature set. This laptop is a shining example of what a thin-and-light Windows laptop can deliver in 2026, and a slight price cut would push it over the top.

It packs a massive 75Wh battery and Intel's new Core Ultra X7 Series 3 processor with gaming-class integrated graphics. In this review, I test gaming performance, battery life, the stunning OLED display, and explain why this might be the most impressive ultraportable laptop of 2026.
