Honor MagicBook Pro si rivolge, per mantra aziendale, ad un pubblico giovane ma ha un target molto ampio fatto sia di studenti sia di coloro che ricercano un PC di adeguata potenza per essere produttivi ogni giorno, lavorando anche lontano dalla presa di corrente per periodi di tempo medio lunghi e che non disdegnano impegni di elaborazione gravosi che sfruttino la potenza del processore AMD Ryzen 5 4600H integrato sotto la scocca. Ci si può anche dilettare con un po' di gaming grazie alla GPU integrata, ovviamente prestando attenzione alla combinazione tra impostazioni qualitative e risoluzione dello schermo.

The performance of a Ryzen 5 4600H, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage are a pretty great deal for the price of this machine. Plus, the fact that you get all that in a fairly light package and with decent battery life is great, and it makes that price even more justified. I did expect a bit more performance from an H-series laptop compared to a U-series one, but clearly, AMD is still besting Intel's competing products in at least some areas, and there's not much to complain about.

Costa 949 euro, ma ha dalla sua: un display molto grande in una scocca non particolarmente grande e ottimo equilibrio hardware. Non è un best buy perchè secondo me sopra i 6-7-800 euro ci sarebbero dovute essere una type C in più e gli Intel di 11° generazione, nonostante questo Core i5 di 10° generazione con anche scheda video MX350 lo facciano girare decisamente bene. Insomma, un bel pc da parte di Honor!

Like I said before, this MagicBook Pro is a very odd release to happen in 2021. The laptop was released almost a year ago in China, and by now, both Intel and Nvidia have newer components on the market, and Honor itself has announced the new MagicBook 14 and 15 in China, which have the much better Tiger Lake processors and a GeForce MX450 GPU.

As such, it’ll all come down to performance to see just how viable this machine is come our full review. The price is going to be pivotal too, as always, with Honor often providing very competively priced machines in the laptop space. This doesn’t feel like a luxury device like some of the aforementioned laptops it may be competiting with, so if that means this Honor ends up being competively priced then I can see it being a sleeper hit of 2024 but a high price may see it struggle.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).

NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU:

Scheda grafica di fascia alta per laptop basata sull'architettura Ada Lovelace. Offre 8 GB GDDR6 (128 Bit) ed è configurabile con un TGP di 35 - 115 W (+ Dynamic Boost).

AMD Picasso (Ryzen 3000 APU):

R5 3550H: APU mobile Quad-Core che utilizza core Zen con clock da 2,2 a 3,8 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 10 CU con clock fino a 1300 MHz.

AMD Renoir (Ryzen 4000 APU):

R5 4600H: APU mobile Hexa-Core che utilizza core Zen 2 con clock da 3 a 4 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 6 CU con clock fino a 1500 MHz.

Intel Comet Lake:

i5-10210U: Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Comet Lake (tecnicamente identico a Whiskey Lake e ancora prodotto in 14nm++). I core della CPU possono clockare tra 1,6 e 4,2 GHz (tutti e 4 i core a 3,9 GHz max.) con HyperThreading (8 thread). Il controller di memoria integrato supporta DDR4-2666 e utilizzando cTDP su/giù le prestazioni possono essere regolate dall'OEM (10 - 25 Watt possibili, 15W di default). Rispetto al più veloce i5-10510U, la cache di livello 3 è stata ridotta da 8 a 6 MB.

i7-10510U: Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Comet Lake (tecnicamente identico a Whiskey Lake e ancora prodotto in 14nm++). Intel Intel Meteor Lake-H:

Ultra 7 155H: Un chip Meteor Lake di fascia alta che ha debuttato nel dicembre 2023. Questo processore Core Ultra di 1a generazione è arrivato a sostituire i chip Core di 13a generazione; ha 16 core (6 + 8 + 2) e 22 thread a disposizione. I core Performance, che sono 6, funzionano fino a 4,8 GHz, mentre i core Efficient, che sono 10 (8 core principali più 2 extra che si trovano nell'isola Low Power), funzionano fino a 3,8 GHz. La NPU AI Boost integrata offre due motori Gen 3 per l'accelerazione hardware dei carichi di lavoro AI. Il consumo energetico "minimo assicurato" di questo processore laptop è di 28 W, mentre il consumo energetico Turbo dovrebbe rimanere entro i 115 W.
