EN→ITWe would like to say that Chromebooks have come a long way. However, most of them didn’t. In fact, devices like the ASUS Chromebook C223 show the progress of the PC, MacBook, and smartphone industries. ASUS Chromebook C223’s display has a budget TN panel. Its viewing angles are uncomfortable, covers only half of the sRGB color space, and it uses PWM for brightness adjustment. Its only technical advantage is the quick pixel response time. Everything about this notebook speaks of its affordability. Its hardware, build quality, etc. Ultimately, the best thing about it is the keyboard, which is spill-resistant, and comfortable for typing. Also, you get a decent battery life out of the thing. On the other hand, you should keep in mind that the notebook comes with 4GB of RAM, and either 16 or 32GB of eMMC non-upgradable storage.

EN→ITThe Asus Chromebook C223 is an excellent budget notebook, with a reliable keyboard, long battery life, and compact and light form factor. But Asus has made a number of compromises to keep the price down of this Chromebook, and it’s kind of visible with the Intel Celeron processor and 32GB of onboard storage — Google provides 100 GB of free online Google One storage for one year. Strictly based on pricing, the Chromebook C223 is a better buy when compared to entry-level Windows notebooks. At Rs 17,999, this Chromebook is still the best entry-level notebook you could find in the market, and I think people will be pleasantly surprised to see all the basic tasks this machine can handle compared to their existing Windows laptop.

A Chromebook doesn’t have to be perfect to be enjoyable to use, and the price you pay for that experience matters a whole lot in determining what you’ll feel each time you reach for it. If the prices are what they are right now and you are in the market for a device, this might be the one for you. However, if the C434 drops back to the $559 price for the 8GB model again and the C425 is back to $499, I’d have to point you back at the Flip C434 as the better option. Pricing is volatile and will stay that way. As a matter of fact, it will probably only get crazier, so make sure you keep yourself informed by staying in touch with everything happening here at Chrome Unboxed by signing up for email alerts below.

The keyboard isn’t great, but it’s not absolutely awful. Yet it’s impossible to ignore the slow spec or the poor performance. You can’t expect high speeds for under £200, but the C223 is just too slow to recommend.

Con il marchio ROG (Republic of Gamers), ASUS produce laptop da gioco conosciuti dai giocatori per le loro potenti specifiche, schede grafiche dedicate, display ad alta frequenza di aggiornamento e sistemi di raffreddamento avanzati.
Oltre ai giochi, viene offerta un'ampia gamma di notebook per esigenze e budget diversi, dagli ultrabook ultrasottili e leggeri ai versatili convertibili 2 in 1 e alle opzioni economiche. Nel 2023, Asus deteneva una quota di mercato globale del 7% del mercato dei PC.
La soddisfazione del cliente per i notebook ASUS riguarda le prestazioni, le caratteristiche e il buon rapporto prezzo-prestazioni dei notebook ASUS. Adattatore grafico integrato low-end con supporto DirectX 12, che possiamo trovare su alcuni SoCs ULV della serie Apollo Lake.

Celeron N3350:
Frugale SoC dual-core della serie Apollo Lake per portatili economici. Gira con clocks tra 1.1-2.4 GHz ed integra un adattatore grafico DirectX 12. Rispetto alla precedente generazione Atom, le prestazioni per-MHz dell'architettura CPU erano state nettamente migliorate così come l'adattatore grafico.

Processore ULV dual-core Skylake-based per tablets e portatili 2-in-1. Offre una GPU integrata HD Graphics 515 ed è realizzato in 14 nm.
Intel Amber Lake:
m3-8100Y: ULV-SoC (System-on-a-Chip) estremamente efficiente per tablet e notebook senza ventole basato sull'architettura Amber Lake che è fondamentalmente un chip Kaby Lake prodotto nel processo migliorato a 14nm+ (no 14nm+++) con velocità di clock più elevate e 5 Watt TDP. Include due core di CPU clock a 1.1-3.4 GHz con supporto Hyper Threading e un adattatore grafico.

Pentium 4415Y:
Soc (System-on-a-Chip) ULV estremamente efficiente per tablet e notebook fanless basato sull'architettura Kaby Lake. Include due cores CPU con clock a 1,6 GHz (fisso, senza Turbo Boost) con supporto Hyper Threading e un adattatore grafico ed è prodotto in un processo da 14 nm.
Intel Pentium:
Pentium N4200:
Frugale SoC quad-core della serie Apollo Lake per notebook economici. Gira con clocks tra 1.1-2.5 GHz ed integra un adattatore grafico che usa DirectX 12. Rispetto alla precedente generazione Atom, le performance per-MHz dell'architettura CPU sono state nettamente migliorate e anche l'adattatore grafico è stato migliorato.
