This notebook is marred by two glaring issues. The bottom of the chassis and parts of the top get too hot to the touch while gaming. It’s understandable to use the chassis as a heatsink, though we think this notebook takes it to the excess. Secondly, the fans are too loud at top RPM and have a highly distinct whine. Even though the X5S has a rather decent pair of speakers, we found ourselves reverting to headphones to hear quieter sounds in games. These issues are both sacrifices made to achieve such a thin and light design. You’ll have to decide whether the trade-offs are worthwhile.

Of course, temperature problems aren’t unusual in gaming laptops, and I’d still happily sit down and play games on the X5s for hours at a time. At this price, though, I expect perfection, so the Aorus X5s just misses out on that elusive fifth star. Still, if you have the funds and are after one of the most distinctive and powerful gaming laptops money can buy, then the Aorus X5s Camo certainly won’t disappoint.

Nessun compromesso nelle prestazioni. L'Aorus X5 è tornato con Pascal, tasti RGB illuminati individualmente e display FHD 120 Hz in un chassis con spessore inferiore a 23 mm. Le prestazioni di gaming sono a livello desktop con scheda grafica GTX 1070, anche se il tutto è un po' più rumoroso.

Aorus has responded quickly and the refreshed X5 v6 races out of the gate with a Core i7-6820HK processor and GeForce GTX 1070 graphics allied to a high-resolution 3K WQHD+ display.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
