Con la nostra recente recensione del modello 2026 XPS 16ora abbiamo almeno un rappresentante per processore per vedere come le tre CPU si confrontano tra loro. Sfortunatamente, le differenze di prestazioni tra ciascuna CPU possono variare da minime a estreme.

I nostri benchmark qui sotto rivelano che il Core Ultra 5 325 e il Core Ultra 7 355 sono quasi identici tra loro in termini di prestazioni, nonostante il Core Ultra 7 sia più costoso. Quest'ultimo può avere un vantaggio medio di prestazioni del 4% in base ai nostri campioni di test, ma questa differenza è abbastanza piccola da essere impercettibile nella maggior parte dei carichi di lavoro o degli scenari del mondo reale.

I risultati sono simili quando si confrontano le prestazioni della grafica integrata. i risultati di 3DMark collocano il Core Ultra 7 a pochi punti percentuali di vantaggio in media rispetto al Core Ultra 5, che ancora una volta non è sufficiente per fare una differenza evidente nella maggior parte delle applicazioni del mondo reale.

Il salto dal Core Ultra 5 325 all'Ultra 7 355 è quindi a dir poco deludente, in quanto è a malapena un salto.

Per ottenere una maggiore differenza di prestazioni, gli utenti dovranno invece passare alla configurazione Core Ultra X7 358H, dove le prestazioni multi-thread e la grafica possono essere fino al 75 percento e 2,5 volte più veloci, rispettivamente, rispetto al Core Ultra 5 o all'Ultra 7.

Una rapida occhiata alle specifiche cartacee del Core Ultra 5 325 e del Core Ultra 7 355 rivela perché le due CPU hanno prestazioni così simili. Entrambe condividono lo stesso numero di core, le dimensioni della cache, la GPU Xe3 4 integrata, la NPU e il TGP target, per ottenere essenzialmente lo stesso livello di prestazioni. Solo quando si passa al Core Ultra X7 358H si ottiene un numero significativamente maggiore di core sia per la CPU che per la GPU, per livelli di prestazioni molto più elevati.
