MSI ha collocato la sua ammiraglia da 17" GT72 al posto giusto. Maggiore potenza CPU,  memoria video raddoppiata, DDR4 RAM, NVMe SSD,  e tecnologia Nvidia G-Sync  sono le benvenute. Sebbene lo chassis sia ancora relativamente pesante in grande, a piattaforma gaming è perfettamente adatta come desktop replacement.

 Non importa che si tratti di connettività, schermo o dispositivi di input: Msi ha fatto un lavoro ottimo sotto quasi tutti i punti di vista. Dopo essersi abituati all'insolito layout della tastiera ed è un tipo di appoggio dei polsi gommati, non ci sono ostacoli alla lunga sessione di gaming. Sviluppo delle temperature del rumore sono moderate, per la moltitudine di interfacce ed opzioni di upgrade così come a suo tempo qualità del suono sono degno di lode.

MSI potrebbe migliorare la robustezza della cover, a portata Wi-Fi, e l'accessibilità alla batteria.
