In review: Toshiba Satellite P50-C-188. Test model provided by Toshiba Germany.

Con il Satellite P50-C-188, Toshiba lancia un tuttofare multimedia da 15.6". Il computer ha potenza sufficiente per gli scenari applicativi quotidiani e per i giochi attuali. Il computer è silenzioso e non si scalda molto. Grazie all'hard drive da 1 TB, c'è abbastanza spazio per i giochi ed altri dati. E' facile sostituire l'hard drive con uno superiore o con un SSD. Il lato inferiore si rimuove facilmente. I dispositivi di input sono buoni. La tastiera è migliore rispetto a quanto serve per un uso domestico. Tuttavia, avremmo voluto vedere una tastiera illuminata - che dovrebbe esserci su un portatile che costa quasi 1000 Euro (~$1113).

Nel complesso, Toshiba realizza un bilanciato tuttofare multimedia.

Ancora una volta, dobbiamo criticare, la qualità di costruzione non perfetta e la stabilità del case. Ad esempio, la base si torce facilmente a nostro parere. Questo non dovrebbe accadere con un dispositivo che costa 1000 Euro (~$1113). Il Satellite ha un buon display IPS luminoso e con contrasto elevato. Sfortunatamente, Toshiba usa un modello lucido.
