REDMAGIC 11S Pro è esattamente quello che suggerisce la lettera S nel nome: un aggiornamento incrementale che non reinventa il prodotto ma lo affina su alcuni dettagli. Il problema è che, a differenza dell'11 Pro che portava novità concrete rispetto alla serie 10 (raffreddamento a liquido, IPX8, ricarica wireless), l'11S Pro non ha un titolo altrettanto forte da spendere.

Considerando hardware, display, batteria e sistema di raffreddamento, il posizionamento è piuttosto aggressivo rispetto a tanti top di gamma tradizionali.

Per un prezzo di 899 euro nella variante 16/512 GB, l'11S Pro si colloca in una fascia estremamente competitiva, presidiata da cinque o sei top di gamma 'non ultra' che entrano in diretta competizione con questo modello. Qui il design è chiaramente un elemento distintivo, così come il sistema di dissipazione a liquido, coadiuvato dai componenti “invisibili” sotto la scocca e dalla ventola fisica. Le fotocamere a filo piacciono a molti, esattamente come la selfie camera nascosta sotto il display.La batteria è semplicemente incredibile, e le velocità di ricarica sono ottime e soprattutto veritiere: i valori promessi sono ottenibili anche con caricabatterie e power bank generici (un dettaglio che, nel panorama Android odierno, non è affatto scontato).Le piccole migliorie sono sicuramente apprezzate, e questo modello è chiaramente migliore del precedente per chi era ancora indeciso sull'acquisto. Chi ha già un 11 Pro, invece, farebbe bene a tenerselo stretto e ad attendere il futuro 12 Pro, che dovrebbe cambiare ben più carte in tavola.Considerando i recenti aumenti e i costi delle RAM, era prevedibile non vedere in vendita da noi una variante 24/1 TB, ormai troppo costosa da produrre. Va però segnalata la 12/256 GB, che potrebbe andare bene a molti e far risparmiare 100 euro, portando il prezzo d'ingresso a 799 euro.Entrambe le varianti hanno la back cover trasparente che mostra il sistema di dissipazione (con il modello precedente si era costretti a sceglierne solo una delle due). La versione da 256 GB, però, dovrebbe essere disponibile soltanto in nero, l'altra colorazione a listino. Voi cosa ne pensate? Un sistema di dissipazione a liquido come l'AquaCore è davvero il futuro degli smartphone, o resterà una prerogativa dei soli gaming phone? Fatecelo sapere nei commenti.

Recensione RedMagic 11s Pro: il raffreddamento al liquido che puoi vedere

RedMagic 11S Pro è una versione affinata di uno smartphone che era già estremo. Aumenta ancora la potenza, migliora il raffreddamento, introduce qualche novità nel touch e nel software, ma non cambia davvero la sostanza rispetto a RedMagic 11 Pro. Rimane quindi uno degli smartphone più potenti in circolazione e uno dei pochi veri gaming phone rimasti, con trigger fisici, ventola attiva, jack audio, display senza interruzioni e una batteria enorme. Rimangono però anche i compromessi: fotocamere solo sufficienti, software non sempre raffinato e una fotocamera frontale sotto al display che continua a essere più utile al design che alla qualità. Chi cerca il massimo delle prestazioni può tenerlo in forte considerazione. Chi ha già RedMagic 11 Pro, invece, può tranquillamente saltare questo giro.

The RedMagic 11S Pro is a further optimised version of the already great RedMagic 11 Pro with immense, flagship-grade performance, solid battery life, and a bright, detailed and zippy screen. It is a fair bit dearer than its predecessors at £709/$849, though, and the dual 50MP camera array isn’t up to snuff for a phone at this price. The normal RedMagic 11 Pro has a lot of the same fundamentals as this 11S Pro, and gives you a similar result for a little bit less in terms of money – it’s only the real power users who will benefit from the extra performance by its overclocked SoC. The new Honor 600 Pro is a more rounded choice at a little bit of a higher price tag, with a much stronger camera system, similarly solid battery life and less polarising looks, although it doesn’t have as much grunt under the hood. I've been testing this absolute unit for a few weeks now so here's my review, with thoughts on the battery life, gaming performance and more. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition replaces the original platform, to power through the likes of Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact and other favourites. Plus the RedMagic 11s Pro sports that same liquid cooling as the original Red Magic 11 Pro - plus some liquid metal surround for the processor. Other specs remain mostly the same, from the battery capacity to the full-view display. So if you already have the old gen, no need to upgrade in 2026.
