Con un prezzo intorno ai 1200€, il Gigabyte Gaming A16 è un notebook ben bilanciato, che offre una componente GPU moderna - compatibile anche con il DLSS 4 - abbinata a una piattaforma mainstream, non troppo potente né all'ultimo grido, ma che ben si sposa alla RTX 5060 Laptop. Ne viene fuori un notebook gaming in grado di soddisfare chi vuole giocare senza troppe pretese, ma anche senza rinunce in termini tecnologici. Lo schermo da 165 Hz è più che adeguato in termini di velocità al tipo di piattaforma, anche se forse si poteva fare qualcosa in più per renderlo più appagante anche in termini di riproduzione dei colori. Nota dolente le porte USB, che nei test hanno lasciato a desiderare, ma è un neo che può interessare una nicchia. Discreta l'autonomia, buone le temperature e le prestazioni in generale: oggi - in un periodo storico dove certamente il prezzo della tecnologia non è dei più abbordabili - a quel prezzo non si può richiedere molto di più.

But at the same time, the model turned out to be compact and portable, which not every gaming laptop can boast of. It also holds up very well under high load for a long time. In general, the GAMING A16 was intended to be the optimal solution in terms of size/efficiency of the cooling system/power, and it succeeded.

A 115W cap on the RTX 5080 means mid-range performance, but it's well ahead of similar priced 5070-equipped rivals. It's not perfect – battery life is shorter than I'd like, the fans get loud under load and the lone 5 Gbps USB-C port feels dated. But if you pick it up at a decent discount, the Gaming A16 Pro is good value for money.

EN→ITThe Gigabyte Gaming A16 Pro is overall a decent laptop. The combination of Intel’s Core 7 240H and an RTX 5080 produce mostly good gaming results and the 32GB of LPDDR5x memory keeps everything running smoothly, though is sadly not upgradeable due to being soldered. The dual 1TB SSDs offer plenty of space, but one of the M.2 slots runs at slower speeds, which feels like a missed opportunity in an otherwise solid setup. The 16-inch, 2560×1600 IPS panel display is decent. It offers good sharpness and smooth motion, though it lacks the contrast of pricier OLED alternatives. The keyboard and trackpad are serviceable: comfortable enough for daily use but nothing exceptional, with cramped arrow keys and a slightly hollow trackpad click. Connectivity is practical, though the left-side charging port can get in the way and an SD card reader would’ve been a welcome inclusion.

Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop: Una prossima scheda grafica della famiglia Blackwell per computer portatili, che il Team Green presenterà molto probabilmente al CES 2025. Considerando che il laptop 4070 ha 4.608 shader unificati (core CUDA), il 5070 avrà molto probabilmente oltre 5.000 shader.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop: Una scheda grafica veloce della famiglia Blackwell per computer portatili che si basa sul chip GB203 e utilizza 8.192 shader e 16 GB di memoria grafica GDDR7 (bus grafico a 256 bit).
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU:
Scheda grafica di fascia media per portatili basata sull'architettura Ada Lovelace. Offre 6 GB GDDR6 (96 Bit) ed è configurabile con un TGP di 35 - 115 W (+ Dynamic Boost).
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop: Scheda grafica entry-level della famiglia Blackwell per Latpops con 2.560 shader unificati (core CUDA) e una frequenza di clock di 1500 - 2662 MHz a seconda dell'impostazione del TDP. Secondo Nvidia, le prestazioni senza DLSS e generazione di frame dovrebbero essere paragonabili a quelle di una RTX 4060.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop: Scheda grafica mobile di fascia media della famiglia Blackwell basata sul chip GB206 con 3328 shader e 8 GB di memoria grafica GDDR7 (128 bit).

Intel Raptor Lake-H:
i7-13620H: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 6 core ad alte prestazioni e 4 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 16 thread che possono essere elaborati. La CPU ha un clock da 1,8 a 4,9 GHz e supporta vPro.
Core 7 240H: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 6 core ad alte prestazioni e 4 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading per 16 thread in totale. La CPU funziona da 1,8 a 5,2 GHz. Rispetto al vecchio Core i7-13620H, il Core 7 240H offre velocità di clock più elevate (soprattutto Turbo Boost) e supporto per DDR5-5600.
AMD Hawk Point (Zen 4/4c):
R7 260: Un chip veloce della famiglia Hawk Point che ha visto la luce nel primo semestre del 2025. Il chip è identico al vecchio Ryzen 7 8845HS e quindi è una CPU a 8 core basata su Zen 4 che funziona fino a 5,1 GHz. Inoltre, il chip integra una NPU dedicata con 16 TOPS.
