The military-grade certification is just an added bonus. Yes, the device is not quite performing up to the standards of the ROG Strix or perhaps the MSI Stealth, but then it is also about Rs 30,000 - 40,000 cheaper.

Le specifiche hardware, composte da un'APU Ryzen 5 3550H e da una GPU GeForce GTX 1650, sono in grado di riprodurre in modo fluido tutti i giochi moderni e attuali sul suo display full HD IPS da 17,3 pollici. Il laptop ha un consumo energetico relativamente basso e si riscalda solo moderatamente. A suo favore ci sono anche un'unità SSD NVMe, un HDD aggiuntivo e un'ottima durata della batteria. Non così buona è la connettività.

Like all Asus TUF series gaming laptops, the TUF FX705DT nails it where it matters -- performance. With the latest AMD Ryzen 7 processor and the Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics, this laptop can quite easily run all the latest gaming laptops as long as you are willing to compromise a tad on the visual quality. The large and vibrant display is a treat to watch movies or spend weekends playing FIFA with your buddies. There sure are some compromises one needs to be acquainted with but when considering the price of Rs 82,990, I feel you can't get a better deal than this right now.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. è un importante produttore taiwanese di hardware per computer con sede a Taipei, fondato nel 1989. Con il marchio Asus, l'azienda produce un'ampia gamma di prodotti, tra cui laptop, desktop, schede madri, schede grafiche, monitor, smartphone e apparecchiature di rete , sistemi completi e componenti PC per utenti finali.
Con il marchio ROG (Republic of Gamers), ASUS produce laptop da gioco conosciuti dai giocatori per le loro potenti specifiche, schede grafiche dedicate, display ad alta frequenza di aggiornamento e sistemi di raffreddamento avanzati.
Oltre ai giochi, viene offerta un'ampia gamma di notebook per esigenze e budget diversi, dagli ultrabook ultrasottili e leggeri ai versatili convertibili 2 in 1 e alle opzioni economiche. Nel 2023, Asus deteneva una quota di mercato globale del 7% del mercato dei PC.
La soddisfazione del cliente per i notebook ASUS riguarda le prestazioni, le caratteristiche e il buon rapporto prezzo-prestazioni dei notebook ASUS. Tuttavia, come con qualsiasi marca, ci sono segnalazioni occasionali di problemi come surriscaldamento, compatibilità dei driver o problemi di qualità costruttiva.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Mobile:
La mobile GTX 1060 si basa sul chip GP106 ed offre 1280 shaders. Rispetto alla versione desktop con nome identico ha un clock rate leggermente inferiore. II giochi in Full HD e dettagli massimi dovrebbero girare in modo fluido con questa scheda.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile:
Scheda grafica dedicata di fascia media per computer portatili basata sulla GTX 1650 desktop e quindi sull'architettura Turing (chip TU117 in 12nm FFN) senza raytracing e Tensor cores.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile:
Scheda grafica dedicata di fascia media per computer portatili basata sulla GTX 1660 Ti desktop e quindi sull'architettura Turing senza raytracing e Tensor cores. Le prestazioni della variante Max-P dovrebbero essere simili a quelle di una vecchia GTX 1070.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Processore basato sull'architettura Coffee Lake per computer portatili grandi e pesanti. Integra sei processori con clock a 2,2 - 4,1 GHz (4 GHz con 4 core, 3,9 GHz con 6 core) che supportano l'HyperThreading. Prodotto con un processo migliorato in 14nm (14nm++).
i5-8300H:
Processore basato sull'architettura Coffee Lake per computer portatili grandi e pesanti. Integra quattro cores processore con clock a 2,3 - 4 GHz (3,9 GHz con 4 core) che supportano l'HyperThreading. Prodotto con un processo migliorato da 14nm (14nm++).
AMD Picasso (Ryzen 3000 APU):
R5 3550H: APU mobile Quad-Core che utilizza core Zen con clock da 2,2 a 3,8 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 10 CU con clock fino a 1300 MHz.
R7 3750H: APU mobile Quad-Core che utilizza core Zen+ con clock da 2,3 a 4 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 10 CU con clock fino a 1400 MHz. La 3750H è la versione da 35 Watt della 3700U con le stesse specifiche ma con un TDP più alto per migliori prestazioni sotto lunghi periodi di carico.
