On the flip side, the lack of 4K support means you’ll be stuck with a rather outdated resolution moving forward without a secondary display, but I personally found the excellent 240Hz display to be a worthwhile compromise in the end as someone with a love for high-performance over picture quality.

Our review unit which comes with a 1440p display has also shown us how well it works out for doing professional work as well. Certainly, its minimal design and equipped performance levels allowed it to be an all-rounder for both work and play. Rather having a notebook computer that is focused solely for gaming, the AORUS 15 XE4 is more like an jack of all trades. Its lighter weight, slightly longer battery life and higher display resolution makes it more suitable for use under various use cases. Answering back our initial question – is the AORUS 15 XE4 a good gaming notebook for 2022? Certainly. However, we saw that it was in fact more capable than that, and would consider it suited for many other use cases as well. If you are considering a new high performance notebook computer for both work and play, do consider the AORUS 15 XE4.

Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile:
Scheda grafica per laptop high-end basata sul chip TU106 con 2.304 shaders e 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM. Rispetto alla variante desktop, la GPU ha un clock inferiore.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile:
Scheda grafica per laptop di fascia medio-alta basata sull'architettura Turing con funzionalit‡ di raytracing e 1.920 shaders. Rispetto all'analoga scheda desktop con nome simile, offre valori di clock ridotti.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile:
Scheda grafica dedicata di fascia media per computer portatili basata sulla GTX 1660 Ti desktop e quindi sull'architettura Turing senza raytracing e Tensor cores. Le prestazioni della variante Max-P dovrebbero essere simili a quelle di una vecchia GTX 1070.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q:
Scheda grafica per laptop di fascia alta basata sul chip TU106 con 2.304 shaders e 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM. Offre velocit‡ di clock ridotte per ottenere un consumo energetico molto pi˘ basso.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q:
Scheda grafica per laptop di fascia alta basata sul chip TU104 con 3.072 shader. Funziona a velocità di clock ridotte rispetto a un laptop RTX 2080 Super per ottenere un consumo energetico molto più basso. Il TGP è specificato tra 80 e 90 Watt con diverse velocità di clock.
Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).
