Lenovo Yoga Book è intrigante. Sottile, leggero e davvero usabile come un vero convertibile 2 in 1, unisce alla sua estrema praticità anche la presenza di uno stylus che vi farà apprezzare questo tipo di input, data la facilità di utilizzo, possibile anche sopra la tastiera touch e non direttamente su schermo. Proprio la particolarità della tastiera è però uno scoglio non indifferente, e sia chiaro che le prestazioni restano di fascia relativamente bassa. Eppure c'è qualcosa in lui che vi spingerà ad usarlo; forse il semplice fatto che potrete sfruttarlo un po' come volete: come PC, come tablet, come ebook reader, come tavoletta grafica, e tanto altro nel mezzo. E con la scheda SIM inserita, non dovrete nemmeno dipendere da nessuno per la connettività.

Lenovo Yoga Book è intrigante. La stylus potrebbe essere integrata nel telaio, il tasto di accensione dovrebbe essere sotto la cerniera perché sul lato si preme per sbaglio, si potrebbe inserire un lettore di impronte stile Transformer 3 per Windows Hello, servirebbe una USB-C per garantire modernità - e magari anche la possibilità di usare la tastiera in fase di boot (adesso si può attivare solo dall'OS). Assaggiato il mercato, Lenovo potrebbe fare di Yoga Book un 11 pollici non tanto per garantire uno schermo più grande ma per inserire un touchpad migliore e una vera dotazione di porte. Potrebbe farne un laptop.

The Lenovo Yoga Book stirs emotions like few other recent pieces of consumer electronics. Practicality or need be damned--I just want one! I seriously applaud Lenovo for taking a chance on a product like the Yoga Book, and I want them to continue evolving it. It has a lot of promise, but right now I feel that the Windows version is an answer to a problem few of us had--the main advantage of the virtual keyboard beyond good looks is that it allows for a rigid yet insanely thin laptop. Unless you type very little, I'm not sure it's worth the tradeoff. Maybe we'll see laptops of the future with something like Force Touch for the keyboard that will make typing easier and more natural.

The Yoga Book is one of the most interesting hybrids to arrive this year and could be a breath of fresh air in a stagnating market that seems hell bent on copying Microsoft’s Surface design. I’m super excited to see how the Yoga Book’s touch keyboard and pen work with long term use. On paper the tech has a huge amount of potential for illustrators and those who like to take pen-written notes.

Si tratta comunque di un costo abbastanza elevato, che viene però pienamente giustificato da dettagli e design al top e prestazioni davvero niente male. Si tratta di un prodotto innovativo, che probabilmente piacerà poco agli amanti dei classici.

Dopo aver analizzato Lenovo Yoga Book è ora di passare a parlare del prezzo. La versione da noi provata è quella che ha il prezzo più basso fra le proposte. Si tratta comunque di un costo abbastanza elevato, che viene però pienamente giustificato da dettagli e design al top e prestazioni davvero niente male. Si tratta di un prodotto innovativo, che probabilmente piacerà poco agli amanti dei classici.

Can the Yoga Book be your notebook replacement? Probably not. But in most cases, the Lenovo Yoga Book can do so much more while other conventional tablets and laptops fail. Although, the one presented in this device comes pretty close. The exception is if you enjoy digital sketching and note-taking enough that you want the option handy at all times, but not so much that you’d spring for a dedicated accessory. That’s a narrow frame of appeal to contort into, but hey. That’s what Yoga is for.

Lenovo Yoga Book C930 è un dispositivo che amerete facilmente. Riesce ad accontentare chi voglia un tablet per le attività quotidiane, chi cerchi la praticità di uno stylus ben integrato nel sistema, chi voglia un ebook reader, ed anche chi debba semplicemente prendere un sacco di appunti, scritti o disegnati che siano. Non eccelle davvero in nessuno di questi compiti, ma li porta tutti a casa. Peccato che il prezzo per farlo sia davvero salato, letteralmente (figurativamente). Se un dispositivo così costasse meno, forse potrebbe anche dare il via ad un nuovo genere, invece resta (gradito) appannaggio di pochi, ed erroneamente snobbato dagli altri.

Il capitolo prezzo è ovviamente una nota dolente: la variante da noi provata (ma sul sito è previsto un SSD da 512GB) costa 2699€. Sono tanti soldi? In senso assoluto sì, chiaramente, ma non si può non considerare lo sforzo ingegneristico (sia hardware che software), la tecnologia a bordo e il comparto hardware praticamente senza compromessi. Ovviamente non è un prodotto per tutti, ma molti professionisti e non potranno trarre molto vantaggi da una soluzione così completa, ben realizzata e già pronta all’uso, grazie all’intelligente scelta di Lenovo di offrire in dotazione tutto il necessario, senza costringere l’utente a spendere altri soldi per ottenere un’esperienza utente completa. Sono rimasto sinceramente colpito dallo Yoga Book 9i, che per la prima volta dopo tanti anni mi ha lasciato senza parole. La vera innovazione non consiste solo nell’effetto wow, ma consiste anche nel riuscire a concretizzare le idee facendole diventare soluzioni produttive, ed in questo Lenovo ha azzeccato tutto.

Il prezzo di questo Yoga Book 9i è pari a 2.699 euro. Non di certo per tutti ma va riconosciuta a Lenovo la voglia di innovare, di distinguersi e di fare qualcosa di diverso che non è solo un esercizio di stile ma che anzi riesce a rivelarsi davvero utile in tante occasioni, ognuno può valutare se in base al proprio utilizzo poter risparmiare con un normale portatile ed uno schermo esterno oppure se spendere così tanto per questo concentrato di tecnologia possa valerne la pena. Difetti? Windows 11 che nonostante il grande lavoro di Lenovo ogni tanto crea qualche problemino, soprattutto quando sullo schermo inferiore posizioniamo la tastiera fisica magnetica e usiamo la porzione restante per creare un trackpad virtuale, funzione geniale ma non perfetta.

I’m skeptical of any laptop company that makes claims regarding how its product will improve my workflow; a lot of things are not made with neurodivergent brains in mind. But the Yoga Book 9i lives up to Lenovo’s claims and has been a better tool than I could have ever imagined for my unique brain. Efficiency isn’t just about how fast a computer can sort a spreadsheet with lots of formulas, but also how you can physically manipulate the device you’re using, to make your “organic chips” process information faster. That’s the Yoga Book 9i, a snappy machine that is both efficient in processing, power draw, and battery life, and can physically transform for a variety of use cases. Some of the closet alternatives you’ll find with some similar combination of price, specs, and features are the Apple MacBook Pro 13 M2, Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i, and Acer Swift Go 16 , but none of them can do what the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i can do.

I’m skeptical of any laptop company that makes claims regarding how its product will improve my workflow; a lot of things are not made with neurodivergent brains in mind. But the Yoga Book 9i lives up to Lenovo’s claims and has been a better tool than I could have ever imagined for my unique brain. Efficiency isn’t just about how fast a computer can sort a spreadsheet with lots of formulas, but also how you can physically manipulate the device you’re using, to make your “organic chips” process information faster. That’s the Yoga Book 9i, a snappy machine that is both efficient in processing, power draw, and battery life, and can physically transform for a variety of use cases. Some of the closet alternatives you’ll find with some similar combination of price, specs, and features are the Apple MacBook Pro 13 M2, Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i, and Acer Swift Go 16 , but none of them can do what the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i can do.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.

Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.

Nel 2011 ha acquisito una partecipazione di maggioranza in Medion AG, un produttore europeo di hardware per computer. Nel 2014 è stata acquistata Motorola Mobility, che ha dato a Lenovo una spinta nel mercato degli smartphone.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).

i7-1355U: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 2 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 12 thread che possono essere elaborati. Il clock della CPU va da 1,2 a 5 GHz. Il TDP è specificato a 15 Watt.

Ultra 7 155U: Un chip Meteor Lake di fascia media che ha debuttato nel dicembre 2023. Questo processore Core Ultra di 1a generazione è arrivato a sostituire i processori Core di 13a generazione; ha 12 core (2 + 8 + 2) e 14 thread a disposizione. I core Performance, che sono 2, funzionano fino a 4,8 GHz, mentre i core Efficient, che sono 10 (8 core principali più 2 extra che si trovano nella Low Power Island), funzionano fino a 3,8 GHz. L'Intel Arc Graphics a 4 core, appena sfornato, funge da adattatore grafico integrato - funziona fino a 1,95 GHz - e c'è anche una serie di altre nuovissime tecnologie in offerta, tra cui la NPU AI Boost integrata con due motori Gen 3 per l'accelerazione hardware dei carichi di lavoro AI. Il consumo energetico di base di questo processore per computer portatile è di 15 W, mentre il consumo massimo di energia Turbo consigliato da Intel è di 57 W.
